The name sounds like an English pub...don't be fooled, this is as traditional as it gets in Greece with fantastic home cooked food not rushed and not from a menu. Started with dips and bread, followed by prawns, moussaka, beef stifado and pastries for dessert. We also ate at two other restaurants Skamnia & Dionysos, neither compared or were in... More

Had a great last night meal here and it surpassed our expectations. The atmosphere was great and the food was exceptional. If you wish to eat good quality rustic local food in a small run family taverna who were so welcoming to our party, then this is the place for you. We will certainly visit again the next time we... I was here last year for 2 weeks and enjoyed the fine food and family company and couldn't wait to come back for truly home cooked meals.

We went here as a group of 14. We had very small children ranging from 6 months to 9 years. The owners made us feel very welcome and gave the kids ' kid friendly' food while we tasted traditional Greek food. It was all cooked by the family. Tastes and filling!!!! The wine comes in 5 gallon bottles - local... More

Its hard to fault this restaurant. I've rarely been made to feel as welcome and at ease - and my whole group (ages 8-50) felt the same. It's tucked away up the hill from the coast in Paleros in a quiet residential street, with a cool shaded terrace leading to the interior and kitchens. Art Deco lights should be incongruous... More

We found this place out based on its Tripadvisor ratings and reviews. It's a little off the beaten track (away from the main square and up the hill) but it is worth the effort of finding it. While we were there some people arrived by taxi which is an easy option if you don't want to take the trouble of... More

This small, but very charming restaurant serves very nice greek food, made in the most authentic way by the elderly greek owner of the restaurant. It feels like coming home to your grandmother, due to the warm hospitaly of said owner and her daughter. The food is delicious, and I would recommend that you try out the whole "menu":)
