Best food on Long Island

Pierre was very amazing. He did it ALL single handed. Cooked, served, everything. Great night!

This was the best food we ate on the island and Pierre is charming, a character with a dry sense of humor. We ate here twice and it was far from where we were staying.

Huge portions and really delicious food. Highly recommend the Italian Salad. We also loved the self-service bar.

My wife and I just moved to Long Island and read reviews on chez Pierre. We have traveled the world and ate at some nice places. I didn't expect to get that much good food on Long Island. But this was one of the best places I ever ate. Who thought you could get some of the best Italian food... More

The meal was simply gourmet. The Caesar Salad was unique as Pierre adds black olives and balsamic vinegar to the mix. He commended me for having both anchovies and bacon and I commended him for the result. My main meal was simply heavenly being scallops in a spicy red sauce on a bed of linguine. Pierre's personality is part of... More

The surf-n-turf was well worth the expense! If you visit Long Island, don't miss this restaurant. The French Canadian chef is a little eccentric, but the food was amazing!

Chez Pierre was wonderful, some of the best pasta, and fresh seafood you'll ever eat. The atmosphere is great, his beach is beautiful. Did I mention the food was excellent!

We spent 3 weeks in Long Island this April and ate at Chez Pierre on 3 occasions. The food is great but you have to feel sorry for Pierre because he is obviously a very angry man who thinks it is quite appropriate to pass on his nastiness to his guests. A word of warning for those with children -... More

Our two teenage sons raved about their visit to Chez Pierre with their aunt and uncle, so we decided to visit. They mentioned that the food was really good, and that the owner was "interesting." I think that desribes the experience for us, as well. The restaurant is located off a dirt roadway on Long Island, and was easy to... More
