Food was soooo good. The samosas were out of this world. The lobster spring rolls were also delicious. Drinks were great, so was the service. The atmosphere was really cool too. Highly recommended!!

We visited Blu Bungalow on a whim after seeing it from the street. The inside is rustic island chic, spectacularly presented. We ordered crab cakes as appetizers. Best I have ever had (and I am from South Carolina!) Entrees were also delicious - Thai peanut chicken and goat cheese burger. Best part was live music by local musicians - oh... More

The food was terrific but $125 for two burgers, two drinks and a starter is unbelievable!! Eat there once and would not go back due to price.

This was referred to us by Ben Simmons of LittleIslandDesign.com in Harbour Island who has extremely good taste in everything he does and knows excellent food. This restaurant has more charm and character in it's smaller space than you could ever imagine. AND - the food is soooo good. We started with the spicy shrimp skewers with the cooling chutney... We were just riding the streets in our golf cart and came across this cute place! Great tiny restaurant....delicious food and delightful drinks. The upstairs patio was great....it was early, so we had it all to ourselves! Very reasonably prices.....a great place to just " drive by and pick up a drink" from their streetside bar! A real neighborhood gem!

We cancelled a reservation at the Landing to go here after driving by one night and liking the way it looked. We should've stuck with the Landing. Our appetizer (bruschetta with goat cheese and the sweetest cherry tomatoes) was excellent but the rest of the meal (several appetizers) was just okay. My husband got sick later that night and while... More

We stumbled on the Blue Bungalow restaurant walking back to our hotel one night while looking for somewhere to have a nightcap. (It’s a short stumble. The Blue Bungalow is in the centre of Dunmore on the corner of King Street and Murray Street.) It was our favourite place for dinner or just for a drink while on Harbour Island.... More

We ate at Blu Bungalow twice during our stay in March, both times downstairs in the very atmospheric bar, so cannot comment on the terrace upstairs. We found the food to be very tasty and very well presented and the decor is cool. With its tapas based menu, it is more casual than the hotel restaurants on the beach and... More

Harbour Island is home to some of the most pretentious restaurants I have ever seen, and a few "local" places that are really good, but where do you go if you want something charming, original, fun ...and cheaper than a federal bailout? Try this place. You actually have to look for it, it's not on the beach at all, but... More
