Best meal I've had on my trip!

Perhaps I caught them on a good night, as other reviewers have had different thoughts, but I loved everything about this place. I was the only customer at the time, and just kept thinking what a shame it was to waste this great place on little ol' me. Firstly, it is charming as can be inside. The... read more

I was excited to try this place for a Sunday roast, supporting local business and a change from our usual haunt. It is very quaint, tiny bar area, beautifully decorated, log burner and comfy chairs. It is the sort of place where you would receive a warm welcome from the landlord/owner and be on first name terms by the end... More

Family outing with children so an early dinner. Meal was great, we all enjoyed the meals we chose. I have been to this restaurant many times under different management and always enjoyed the food. For me, this was the first time with the new management. I can't really complain about anything, but the service was a bit 'Faulty Towers'. This... More

This restaurant has recently been taken over and it was very disappointing. The service was flow and food 'okay'. Hopefully in time this restaurant will improve.

Really good value food and varied menu. We ordered food from a set cheaper menu and was not disappointed. My husband had seafood pasta and I had a beef curry dish... Just delicious

Popped in for Sunday breakfast and although the Steak Breakfast was tempting , I opted for the traditional Scottish instead. Took a while to arrive but when it did, it was clear that it had been cooked to order as it was fresh and delicious. Quality ingredients, cooked to perfection was the perfect start to the day.

Have been here twice and we have been treated well and food, although there is a little room for improvement, was generally very nice. The management is new and deserve a chance to shine, it is nice to have a lovely Restaurant in West Linton, alongwith the Gordon Arms, it would be a shame for them to be left empty... More

This is our second visit here and I'm afraid it's not much better than the first. The food is mediocre at best. Such a shame as this could be a little gem. Please, shorten the menu and cook things from fresh !
