The lodge is a typical Scottish estate lodge and again the rooms emulate this feature but this does not deter from the comfort and warmth that is given by Jill and her staff. As for the food, well we did not expect such a variety or meals with such a great taste! This is obviously the place to eat, as for... More

We stayed here for two nights with our daughter and son-in-law. using it as a base to tour the Ardnamurachan Peninsula and also visit Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Jill, the host and chef looked after us very well during our stay. The food was excellent and the service efficient but relaxed. Most of the produce was local with... More

I always book a table at Ardshealach whenever I am visiting Acharacle. Set within well kept grounds the lodge offers b&b and evening meals in the restaurant. The lodge itself is very comfortable, and excuse the cliche “a real home from home” well worth booking to stay if you are looking for clean comfortable surroundings. Staff are friendly and accommodating.... More

We dined here last night. Directed to conservatory for drinks&to mull over menu. Nibbles of salmon tartlets, olives, feta, basil&tom sticks. Service fast&efficient. Comfortable dining area. Food beautiful! We had starters of homemade Tom soup&seafood medley. Mains of steak&Scallops, &shared a sweet of cranachan, followed by two espresso's. Highly recommend a visit! :)

Located in gardens overlooking Loch Shiel, with a pathway down to the lochside. The decor could be described as cluttered with ornaments an with a hunting and fishing theme. But you have come here for the food. A good menu which makes use of fresh local produce which is well prepared and presented. Fish and venison figure prominently. Prices are... More

What a gem of a place! Comfortable doesn't actually describe the place - it goes beyond that. Food was amazing too. Beautiful gardens and stunning scenery.

They say they are dog friendly when in fact they are not, I was staying in Acharacle and booked a table, they took the booking even though I said we would be bringing 3 well behaved Bedlington Terriers, we arrived on the day and it was raining and wad told dogs were not allowed in the resturaunt, we left and... What a find. The food and menu was an absolute delight. Cooked to order and beautifully presented. Worthy of a Mitchelin star.

We stayed at the Ardshealach Lodge for three nights in June and felt very pleased with ourselves to have let upon this little gem. Our bedroom overlooked Loch Sheil and we had a cosy Queen bed that had us sleeping like babies. The breakfasts were very good with fantastic muesli and a great choice of cooked breakfast and plenty of... More

We were lucky enough to be recommended to the Ardshealach Lodge restaurant and it certainly didn’t fail to disappoint. The place itself has a lovely homely feel and the staff couldn’t have been more polite. The views while you’re having a pre-dinner drink are fantastic (we were fortunate that the sun was shining). As for the food – really lovely.... More
