This was easily the best pub food that we had on our short break to Northern Ireland. If you are looking for a warm welcome and good food without paying for fine dining, this pub is a good option.

Tucked away on the end of Dundrum towards Clogh, it is a lively and bustling small place. Popular with the locals, Brigid the owner sets the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The real treat is if you... More

A small friendly pub with a lovely open fire just right to round off your evening. The staff ensure a friendly welcome where you will be able to join in the craic if you wish.

This is a local pub that is the gathering place for the community. Taken over by Bridget a few years back she has cleaned up the clientele and knows how to create atmosphere and how to serve. We enjoyed an evening here in conversation while staying at The Carriage House next door. If you are looking for a real Irish... More

Went here just once for a drink and I was very impressed, its quaint and welcoming pub. Not really much else to say, would recommend coming if you're in the area. Shame for the bad reviews but I always take those written by "1 review members" with a pinch of salt. I was told by a real-life Irish man that... More

Just back from a long weekend visit to see my daughter and her fiance' ,they have recently moved to the village. First time any of us had been in the pub, we had such a good time the first night, welcoming locals and Breegin (spelling?) was a fabulous and friendly host. Went in the following 2 nights and had the... More

Popped in for a pint & stayed for many. The atmosphere was excellent with a big fire roaring. Had a sing song with all the locals.

visited this pub/restaurant with friends last month for the first time. We had the best nite that we have had in years. The pub as a real country feel to it. Breegin the landlady has a great sense of humour and kept us entertained all evening with her fantastic stories. The locals who frequent the pub are great, and the... More
