As a local i very rarely eat around home, i would tend togo to some the top named restaurants in belfast. But the mourne seafood has exceeded my expectations from start to finish, the new head chef has really turned it round, cooking and presentation was outstanding, some of the best dishes i ever tasted. Its a real credit to... More

Living in Dundrum I have ate in the Mourne Seafood bar many times, as well as other restaurants in the area and have to say the food here is a step above the rest, not just for the seafood lovers either, as they have great chicken dishes and fantastic Dexter burgers. There's something for everyone here, Mix this with excellent... More

Went to this wee place after researching the local restaurants. Decided to pay it a visit after the evening menus of other restaurants in the area where extravagant in price. I am so glad we went here. The staff welcomed us on arrival, took us to a lovely table and took our drinks order. The waitress even provided excellent advice... More

Great atmosphere, beautiful seafood, good service - well worth a visit! The mussels in red thai curry sauce were very tasty and the lobster beautifully cooked - couldn't fault a thing. Great mix of breads as well.

We started our meal with mussels. They were really fresh and came in a delicious broth. Definitely don't miss out on these. For my main I had the salmon, which was cooked perfectly and served on a bean salad. There's a couple craft beers on the menu as well. Service was good, and they handled our large group well.

I was visiting Northern Ireland yet again and my boyfriend really wanted to go to the Mourne Seafood bar (already last time I was over but we never seemed to make it there then). Oh boy am I happy we did this time! The restaurant is not big, it has a nice decor and excellent service. I ordered the seafood... More

We dinned here on 8th August 2014 and enjoyed a really excellent meal. The food was cooked just right and our waitress was very efficient, even when I complained about the dessert. The desert was actually very nice, I was just commenting that the chef was advertising it as sticky toffee pudding, which having just spent two weeks in Yorkshire... More

Was there for a family gathering and it was so nice to see that they could manage to please everyone. We had one of each of the mussels to start 2 which went down a treat, then we all had a baked oyster to try. I had the turbot which was cooked to perfection and all of its accompaniments that... For many years I had been recommended to go. I had mussells for starters, a whole sea bass for mains and panacotta dessert. All were excellent, beautifully cooked and portions were adequate. I will be back.
