My Wife and I have been to the Mourne Seafood many times and the food is always great and the staff very helpful

Just in for dinner with friends. We did not really want a big starter so they were happy to split a seafood chowder for two of us. Visited on a very stormy night so restaurant was a bit quiet. Friendly staff who knew what was on the menu. Food was excellent. I had a lovely chowder, followed by Hake. its hard to find a place to stop in this beautiful village and the Mourne seafood bar provides the lot ...right on the bay and worth a dander round the quay to work up an appetite . its a lovely child friendly place ,my daughter loves the waiters , and they are indeed handsome and attentive , lovely central fireplace... Was looking for somewhere to go for New Year's Eve and saw the menu on Facebook and was very interested. Booked a table for 4 of us and we had a great meal. What a great lunch my wife and myself both had the Salmon top class .The staff were friendly ,efficient ,and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great.We had sides of chips and champ both done old style perfect in every way.My wife said the house red was very good.

Travelled with 7 friends - menu had good choice and the food arrived promptly. Everyone in the group loved their choices. Staff were attentive and everything about the evening was great. Thank you.
