Best slow roasted porkbelly in SA.

I have tasted Pork belly and several top restaurants throughout South Africa and this is simply the best. Perfect! Good gravy, lovely vegetables, creamy mash and perfect pork belly. Well done!

We went to the Transkaroo Restaurant for lunch after reading the favourable reviews on Tripadvisor and it did not disappoint. Being vegetarians there were a few options and all of them were delicious. The service was very friendly and accommodating to the children's simple needs. The coffee at the end of the meal was excellent. With any luck you may... More

One of the Garden Route's best restaurants. Love the food, love the homely atmosphere. Thumbs up for - the always friendly service. We will definitely be back for the delicious Pork Belly.

We visited this establishment on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and was once again pleasantly surprised, not that we doubted that they would maintain the high standard. As always the service atmosphere and food was fabulous - the snail starter was the best ever tasted not to mention the springbok shank - definitely worth a visit to tantalize your taste... More

Your Springbok shank is illegal. Anything that can one can get addicted to must be a drug. Tell no one. Keep it a secret. We need this for all time....

We always book a table here after the Attakwas MTB race in January, five years in a row the food has been incredible, and even a change of management and the standard has remained at the same high standard
