Chowder!

This is not a cheap touristy cafeteria. This is a classy restaurant, though they do have take-out too. I loved the Raging Chowder. One of the best chowders I've ever had. Great flavours. You get what you pay for.

We came for the view and took lunch, which was very good. We had lobster poutine, a local specialty, which was excellent. Lots of lobster and very tasty. We recommend this delightful restaurant.

We were not planning on eating while visiting this area. However, while waiting for my husband to hike and explore the beach, the local guide suggested I grab a bite in the restaurant. She claimed the food was magnificent and that the chef was professionally trained. Chef? I never heard of a chef being on site at a touristy spot... More

When my husband suggested eating lunch at the light house restaurant I was quite skeptical, assuming a greasy spoon or prepackaged sandwiches. What a delight however. They have an awesome menu featuring locally produced foods along with an impressive beer selection. I had the lobster Cobb salad which was tasty and just what I wanted. My husband had the lobster... After sampling some of the options on the Cape Enragé site we highly recommend dining at the restaurant. The views are almost as good as from the lighthouse; the former keepers lived there. The welcome and knowledge of Erica helped to settle us down and Jeremy’s menu was a delight. He knows his fish and Crustacea being a local man... More

this restaurant is in the home of the former lighthouse keeper on Cape Enrage N.B. We visited for the views and vista and found this delightful restaurant and chef Jeremy Wilbur. Tried the Fiddleheads and chowder for appetizers and both were excellent. Seafood linguine for the entree and rhubarb cake for desert. All special creations by chef Jeremy and we... More

Cape House Restaurant, located at Cape Enrage, provides a fantastic array of delicious items to choose from. World traveler Chef Jeremy is the "culprit". His seafood chowder (which could very appropriately be labeled "World Famous") was exceptionally flavorful and still light for a cream-based dish. The curry pasta and gnocchi were also faves.

We stopped in to get ice cream for our daughter and ended up sharing a delicious lobster poutine. We just couldn't' resist, and have no regrets! Loved that everything was as local as possible, and service was prompt and very friendly! Had time (and 4 yearl old) allowed we would have gone back for a proper dinner. Great menu! One... More

I absolutely love going to this restaurant! The view is amazing. The food is really unique, creative, sourced locally, high quality and delicious. The service is very friendly, helpful, and quick. The patio seating is calm and relaxing. The décor is fun, bright, and artistic. I give a four Thumbs up to chef Wilbur and his staff!!
