Description: We are a new concept restaurant on Great Exuma!! Not only are we on one of the most beautiful beaches in Exuma, but we are both from hospitality backgrounds. Ben, the chef hails from Ireland, where he trained under the Michelin Starred chef Derry Clarke during his apprenticeship, before heading to Washington DC and working in various restaurants. After that he went to Tokyo for a year working in the Michelin starred Gordon Ramsay restaurant. After his Asian affair he joined mega yachts where he served the wealthy throughout the entire Caribbean and Mediterranean for several years before falling in love with Exuma. Clare the Manager, from London has spent 8 years serving the uber rich and famous aboard some of the worlds most glamorous and largest yachts in the world. Open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner daily, with themed nights. Monday is Mexican night, Friday is Indian and Sunday sip Goombay Smashes listening to live Rake 'n Scrape music while feasting on the Islands famous Grillmasters pit, pulled Pork, Chicken and all the fixings...We play cool old tunes, with a casual, ocean front ambiance, serving fine cuisine from around the world, served well with a smile. Currently just breakfast and lunch are offered here - no dinner service is available. Chef Ben unfortunately is no longer at the hotel and restaurant. They advertised breakfast from 7-11 (although we often noticed it wouldn't open until about 8) and lunch from 12-3. They take credit cards and have a fabulous beach. I had breakfast here twice. If you are staying at the hotel, very limited offerings currently. They are searching for a chef currently, however. Friday night BBQ, ribs,chicken,shrimp and steak. The coconut rice was great. The old chef left the hotel, so there is no more tapas or Indian night here. There isn't much seafood offered, and the menu is usually limited to a handful of options (usually chicken, ribs, wings, sandwiches). There weren't many non-guests eating here, since it's not close to much and there are better options on the island.

Chef Ben is amazing, he can make the ordinary extraordinary. From the house made onion bread to the salsa and chutney, everything is a step above what you are expecting. We stayed here, and ate here many times. Ben is a great chef, the drinks are cold, and the wine selection is especially nice for an island. Ate here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner over the course of a week's stay, and the food was always delicious. Occasionally there are special events, and entertainment.
