Breakfast

We stopped here on our way home for what we were hoping was lunch (it was 11:30) apparently, it was still breakfast time. Peace n Plenty was the only thing open on the day we went as it was a holiday on the island and most everything else was closed. The breakfast was normal, average breakfast... read more

We decided to attend the Thursday night bbq since our intention on our trip was to submerge ourselves in the local cuisine and atmosphere. It did not disappoint!! The food was excellent, we only purchased on plate which was enough for us to share. Bartenders were super nice and attentive despite being super busy. The band was awesome and they... More

The nicest hotel in George Town. Located right on the waterfront with a decent restaurant and poolside bar. Our room was a bit pricey but had a great view, with the ocean just below our balcony.

While all the food on the island is expensive, this was a little higher. We could tell it was catering to a certain circle of people.

We have eaten here for lunch over ten times and it is good every times. Good service, the food comes quickly and the view is great.

I was not very impressed with the Peace and Plenty, but was not especially impressed with much of the food in the George Town area. Compared to other restaurants, this was in the middle of the pack, but with a more limited menu, and the prices were a bit high, especially for what you got. The fish was not memorable,... More

Thursday night Buffet is fun with great music and great food. This a small friendly hotel with lots of history. Reasonably priced. If you have gone all the way to Exuma don't miss this night of fun and good food.

Peace and Plenty is where the party is on Thursdays. They have a wonderful spread with live band. There are other options besides BarBQ for food (although their fall off the bone ribs are amazing). Other choices include Mahi, hamburger, chicken and steak. Stick around for the band and drinks around the pool.

Seating outside with a magnificent view of the turquoise waters, Peace and Plenty offers delicious food, too. We returned three times, for breakfast twice, lunch, and later drinks under the stars. We did not stay in their hotel facilities, but it would likely be nice to stay there.. The staff is friendly and gracious
