Great Harbor View, with fresh and tasty food!

We stumbled upon Cape Eleuthera during a drive to explore the island, it was near lunch time so we stopped by the Bahama Coffee Company / Barricudas and enjoyed a tasty mean. The sandwichs we enjoyed were on a tasty sweet bread, and very fresh! The coleslaw was also VERY tasty!!! I couldn't get... read more

Sitting by the marina for lunch offers some great views. Nurse sharks in the water, yatchs at the docks. Great setting to relax at. Been multiple times when showing friends the island. Food is always average. Not bad, but not a great Bahamian taste to it either. Prices can be a little high, but it is the only place to... More

My husband and I drove several hours to get to this area of Eleuthera. I wish we'd stayed at home and had toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches! Although the setting was lovely, right on the marina and the water was so clear we could see wobbegong sharks basking on the bottom, the restaurant food was dreadful. My husband ordered fish... The coffee was strong, the view of the marina beautiful and the palms swaying in the breeze made our breakfast one to remember.

Nothing special here but it is nice to have a night out occasionally. Very clean and friendly but a bit pricey.

As we were staying at the townhouses at Powell Pointe, we had to try the restaurant. We were very impressed. The breakfast sandwiches were actually a good sized omelette with toast that was enough for two days. It was fresh and tasty. The bread was homemade and to die for. Our neighbors ordered an entire loaf for dinner whch was... More

While visiting the southern end of the island we stopped by for a quick lunch. We orderd frozen mochas which were pretty good, a burger and then had them cook some fresh wahoo that a nice family gave to us that were staying there. The fish was great the burger was pretty bad. The outside space was lovely but the... More

Great place to stop and eat while exploring the southern part of the island - good menu selection, great food and beautiful outdoor patio with a nice view of the marina. We had fun looking for fish by the dock while we waited for our food. The marina attendant was very friendly, but the servers were just OK - not... More

For atmosphere, sitting on the patio and looking out at the marina, especially at night, is a nice casual setting. Though in both size and service, it is certainly more akin to a Starbucks, than a full service restaurant. I tried a few items from the menu during my stay at Powell Pointe and while they were not bad, they... More

The Bahama Coffee Company restaurant boasts the best waterfront views of any restaurant for 30 miles to include not only views of the marina, but also sunset views from sunset beach. The restaurant seats as many as 15 persons indoors under AC and as many as 48 persons under the lanai or outdoors under large shaded palms. The restaurant is... More
