Our flight was delayed 2 1/2 hours so by the time we drove to our rental then went out for dinner it was almost 9PM. When we arrived at the Sunset Inn they were closing but stayed open to serve our party of four. We were so thankful! Nice large patio outdoors overlooking the ocean. We all enjoyed fried grouper... The best part of this restaurant was the view of the Caribbean. I enjoyed sitting outside and hearing the waves go back and fourth. The good was great and I am still craving the pancakes. The chicken fettucini Alfredo was great too. Another place I will return to!

Ate there 3 different time during our trip. Always at lunch and was never disappointed. Quality food and great service. The view is really great from the patio.

We stopped here twice on our visit. The first time there was hardly anyone there and we enjoyed conch fritters and a couple of beers. The service was fun and friendly. We went back a second time when the sunset looked promising and the placed was packed and the "hostess" must of being having a bad day! We ended up... More

Sitting on the patio was very buggy. They did supply bug repellant and a citronella candle but it was not effective. The food was average. The wait staff was friendly and helpful.

The Sunset Inn is just south of Governor's Harbor on the main highway. It is a family run restaurant with great conch salad, cracked conch, and fresh snapper depending on what is in season. Sit outside on the porch and look a the water while having a cold Kalik and some good seafood.

Our first night on the island. Easy to find, pleasant service. Sunset indeed is the star. Spaghetti was surprisingly good, even my discriminating eleven year old was appeased. Bring the bug spray if you sit outside… we didn't and were itching the remainder of our week.

We spent 12 days on Eleuthera and ate here several times. Of course service moved on island time, our food and drinks were great! The only negative is we ran into the same LOUD obnoxious tourists from a nearby country, constantly walking and jockeying for picture poses of the sunset right in front of our table and actually stepped on our... The food is good, and of the typical Bahamian style. Fried. But the staff is lovely, albeit very slow. Again, it's the Bahamas, so speed is not really what I'm after. The view on the deck is really wonderful. Get the Grand Slam (fruity rum drink with 5 rums...deadly stuff!).
