These guys are great. We're glad that we made it there. The first time we passed the stand was after we'd already eaten lunch elsewhere but one of the guys showed us how they cut up the fresh conch and throw the extra bits into the marina to feed the fish. He was entertaining, a nice guy. We returned the... More

Firstly, this part has nothing to do with Da Conch Man, my previous two attempts at lobster were not the best. I hated everything about it, especially the stuff that comes out of them. I just got home from Freeport, Grand Bahamas and travelled with six other friends that ate conch and lobster while we were there. I stayed away... More

When you first see this tiny little stand with its larger than life proprietor, you wonder whether you should take the chance? The usual line up of customers give you a pretty good indication that the food is good. We have eaten here on several occasions and in our opinion it serves the best conch salad/fritters etc on the island.

I had read numerous positive review of this place so decided to try it on our stop over in Freeport from Carnival. First let me tell you the food is worth a try BUT, they open at noon. Plan that into your stop. A 15 dollar taxi to the market place plus your meal makes it cost prohibitive for those... More

Must try when in the area. The freshness doesn't compare. We had the lobster risk with conch fritter and a conch salad. Get to watch big daddy prepare the salad from scratch. Behind the hut you can see them clean the conch.

It is a stand but very reasonable. You can then have a seat at a local bar. I recommend " The corner". As long as you buy a drink you can bring food in! It was excellent!!!

still licking our lips over this tasty treat. Good value for your money. Super fresh. We had the conch salad, like ceviche, and lobster with conch fritters. The lobster was lightly fried and perfect.
