We were in Freeport on a Carnival cruise, and decided to take a taxi to Taino beach instead of a Carnival excursion. We ended up at the Junkanoo Beach club. Admission was $2 US They had a full bar and food service that consisted of a good variety of beers from local to us domestics. They had a DJ that... More

Ok, let me first say that for $14/person it's not a bad deal; we didn't have a shore excursion paid for so for our family of 5 $70 for a day at a Bahamian beach wasn't bad. However, as soon as we got off the taxi we were bombarded by two Bahamian women who wanted to braid our girls' hair... More

My husband and I went to Nassau on board a cruise ship. We were 1 of 4 ships in port. I thought, oh boy this will be packed! It wasn't bad at all! Very walkable from the port. we had a beer & a drink came in at about $10 for the two of us for the liquid refreshments. Beer... More

We were on the NCL Sky and took a cab to this beach. Cab was 14 round trip. Beach was $2 per person. Clean with bar and food and souvenirs. Not bad for a Bahamas location. Was fun!

Food was really terrible. I was expecting sub par based on other reviews we read before trip, but was not prepared for how bad it was. Very little "healthy" options, plenty of unidentifiable goulash type mix ups of leftovers. One option was acutally a hot-dog soup one day! Really bad.

The food was very good and the staff was excellent. The restaurant was at the resort so very nice to eat and relax with no running involved.

There were lots of vendors. I ended up at the beach from my carnival cruise excursion. The beach was clean but overcrowded b/c of the cruise. Once the tour groups started to leave the beach was empty. The prices looked reasonable although I made no purchases. I did purchase a coconut drink from a vendor on the beach. I was... More

Traveled to this Beach Club as part of a Jeep Tour. This site is clearly used by many tour operators to lodge their customers for part of the day. My family and I did not eat at the restaurant, however the menu appeared to reasonably priced and people were chowing down. The Beer was cold!..It was very large and appeared... More

We had a wonderful time learning the way to cook Bahamian style. The instructor was delightful!! Her personality is what made it such a wonderful experience. Yolanda was great and I can't wait to see her again. We plan on doing it again next year. The views were amazing. The stories were great and everyone was so wonderful. I( can't say... More
