My husband and I found Agave as we tried to find some good food in Bahamas. We enjoyed every bite. The chicken, shrimp quesadilla, burrito, and conch fritters were delicious. You must stop here if you are at the Port Lucaya Marketplace. :-)

One of our favorites in Lucayan Marketplace. My husband loves the shrimp in garlic sauce and he was not disappointed. I had the jerk chicken burrito - my mouth was in fire but I seriously wanted to lick the plate. Everyone in our party of 8 was pleased. One friend who wasn't feeling great asked for a special order not... More

The food was served attractively, portions were small to midsize, flavors were great and local favorites were good to try.

We went here for happy hour during lunch and the waiter recommend it that we try the famous conch dish. This conch was fried, to me it tasted somewhat like calimari. The service was excellent and the margaritas made me feel at home!!

Had dinner at Agave while staying at the Grand Lucayan. We had a great meal from fresh seafood platter (lobster, conch, shrimp) to chicken fajitas. Teenagers (and parents) loved the food and we had fun watching the Spurs play for the championship! Very relaxing night.

Went for dinner tonight and had mahi mahi tacos and my 11 year old had lobster tacos. All the food was so flavorful, ordered chips & salsa and everything was really good. Service was a little slow from our original server who in the middle of us being there got a party of 30. All in all, it was a... More

I had the Agave Chicken with rice, black beans, and plantains. It was delicious! My eight year old is not very adventurous and stuck with noodles and butter. It took a long time to get our food though so just be prepared to wait!

I have been living on Grand Bahama for 8 years and I do not go into Port Lucaya very often (only when I have visitors). There are a couple of decent restaurants in Freeport but most of them are aimed at the tourist trade. So I try to choose a restaurant above the pack, i.e. more than peas and rice.... More

We took a day trip to the bahamas and decided to check out this restaurant for lunch. We asked two people eating on the patio if it was good and they said delicious then the woman added to ask if it was still happy hour and get a mojito. We sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by Holly,... More
