Went here with Calypso tour, came back the next day and hung out all day! They opened a tab, so I could eat, hydrate and then have a few drinks all day. The Mahi Mahi fish sandwich was fresh and the conch was fabulous. The service was excellent and this beach is ro die for! Tide out, sand bar is... More

This restaurant is great for families with young children and really anybody for that matter. At low tide there is the best sandbar on the island and the water is only a few inches deep. It is nature's babysitter for younger children. The crack conch is fantastic and the peas-n-rice are some of the best I have ever had! The... More

When we pulled up with our friend from the island we had very low expectations. Not only is the view spectacular but the food was too. We had crab cakes and a fresh crab salad that was so good. The burgers are good too. I enjoy a large carafe of ice tea! Definitely one of the best lunch spots on... More

We eat here frequently. It's a great place to take people, as it's right on the beach and they serve traditional Bahamian fare. It's a small place, but there is seating on the deck outside and we frequently bring a dozen or so friends at a time. The service is also traditionally Bahamian, so don't be in a hurry. Have... More

Food and service was good. I had the cracked conch and peas and rice-excellent. Conch chowder was also very good. Water was nice one day and full of seaweed another. Overall nice time!

My husband and I love this place so much we walked up the beach to dodge flooded hurricane roads just to get some wonderful banana bread and conch fritters. The view from the restaurant is a post card and the owner is very friendly. We had a wonderful experience there.

We have had alot of rainy days the last two weeks (Hurricane Arthur and very rainy week after Arthur). I got a bit of cabin fever and decided to drag the hubby to some local joints to try the food. Banana Bay was one stop #2 of the day. We were the only people in the place. Jennifer waited on... More

We went on the East End Tour which we booked at the last minute in the lobby of the Grand Lucayan Resort. The best part of the day was visiting the Banana Bay Rest. for lunch. It is located on a beautiful stretch of beach where you can sit outdoors on a shaded deck and enjoy the view while having... More

I had the conch burger... It was the best food I had in Freeport. And you can sit on the patio with an amazing view of the beach and can even go out to swim and come back.

The beach is beautiful, never overcrowded not even at the weekend. The food was delicious, we always had fish and we always had rice and peas, always very very good. My favorite was the grouper cakes. Service is efficient and there were no mix ups ever which happened to us a few times at other restaurants. The price is right,... More
