Family have been to Banana bay many times. wife and I were here after a long hiatus from Grand Bahama. We always stop at least once for lunch. As stated we were not here since 2008. Their food was delicious! I had the chicken salad wrap and the chowder, my boyfriend had the fish and chips; the fish filets were very tender and soft and the chowder was a tomato based chowder with conch. We came here after our national parks tour, where we got to enjoy their refreshing mango tango drink, it was so good... More

Did I mention there were dogs? Not just handbag size, we're talking German shepards, pit bulls, and other very large dogs. The deck was full of them. I counted 7-10 before I left to get away from the smell and the constant barking! They'll bring the dogs bowls of water, but if you need a drink, forget it! They're too... More

Had lunch here twice during our week in Freeport. Food mostly average, prices in line with dining out in Bahamas, and service is definitely on Bahama time. But hey, you're on vacation. Fun atmosphere if you choose to interact with neighboring tables, casual if you have children along, and a wonderful place to chill. The view is unbeatable and you... More

Stopped at this restaurant on the way home from the East Caves/Gold Rock Beach excursion. Was well worth the money. My wife enjoyed a crab salad, while I had fish and chips, both being delicious. Large home-made ice tea was very refreshing in the heat of the day. The view of the beach and ocean was terrific!

We were dropped off at this restaurant for lunch after a Lucaya National Park tour. Being a group of four, we tried a wide variety of the meals on the menu. As a whole, the meal was very good. The service was alittle slow (probably because our entire tour group was dropped off together) but we did not mind that... More

We stopped to eat at Banana Bay after a wonderful adventure with Calabash tours. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. Had to have the conch fritters and cracked conch and it was outstanding!

Banana Bay has really good food at a reasonable price. Located on a great beach with friendly staff. Tuesdays are very busy at lunchtime with tour groups coming in but we still got our food in a reasonable amount of time. Try the mahi fish tacos. They were great.

stopped in for lunch and was so happy to finally find a mango dacquiris! Apparently mango mix is not available! Great food and beautiful beach. We'll be back next trip for sure!,
