Probably because I'm used to Chinese food overseas and in the states, I found this place a disappointment. The BBQ spare ribs had no sauce,, or flavor. The fried chicken wings were all batter. If you stop here, eat outside. It is very stuffy and hot inside with no ceiling fans.Won't visit again.

Ordering only a salad, this should have been easy. I think the staff swam to Hawaii for the pineapples. The food--when it came was delicious. With decent service, I would have given this an excellent. But unfortunately, the 45 minute wait to be waited on was too long by far, and then the hour to receive our food was inexcusable.... More

Fast service, great surroundings and good food. It was nice to just sit back and relax having a beer and a pizza. You have to eat the CONCH when your in Freeport too.

The style of food is very interesting and original. The dishes are Chinese but they have a local twist. We had an excellent vegetable fried rice that had bamboo shoots and water chestnuts and a stewed mushroom and tofu dish that was gingery and tasty. The prices were good and the location on the patio was quiet and comfortable.

Take note, this is NOT a picture of The China Cafe. We had lunch here, and chose from the special board they have by the door. To be honest it was nothing special, ok for lunch perhaps, and the staff were pleasant enough.

At the Grand Lucayan resort by the pool this restaurant offers various standard lunch items. Service is a little slower than the island standard. Drinks were ordered first and took some time arriving. Waitress kept saying that they would be right up. Food order suffered the same comments. Our burgers and grouper sandwich arrived but it took another 5 minutes... More

We decided to head out for dinner later than normal and could sense most places were closing down so I chose to order carryout from this place. We waited patiently for the food to be prepared and had plenty of time to "admire" the establishment. It appeared fairly dirty and was hotter inside than outside. The shrimp lo mien we... More

Note that the picture isn't from the China Cafe (it might be from the China Grill). China Cafe is in the Port Lucaya Marketplace. We ate there last July and ate there again tonight. The chicken lo-mein is excellent. The egg drop soup was good, but very hot (temperature-wise, but the waitress did warn us). The drink specials aren't as... More

All the previous reviews here appear to be in the wrong place. There is a China Grill here and a China Beach restaurant. I am reviewing the China Grill. This is a bar and grill on the property. The hamburgers and the hot dogs were great. Hard to mess up a hot dog. The drinks were good and service was... More

The food was good. The fiew of the beach was fantastic. The service lacked a little. The location was beachside and by the pool as well. It just seemed to me that they did not have enough people serving.
