We made reservations for Giovanni's, while in the Bahamas over Christmas 2014. It turns out that the place was not crowded and we were welcomed by the owner. She took personal interest in our reason for being in the Bahamas, the menu choices and, we observed, she was involved in most of the meals being served up and presented to... More

with 4 grandchildren in tow, we had the undivided attention of 2 servers with wonderful table management skills. The food was excellent! A great Filet Mignon and 4 other delectable Italian dishes including the perennial Chicken Alfredo.

The service was great. They accommodated our party of 7 at prime dinner time. My 3 yr old had the spaghetti and meatballs. It was delicious. I would've actually preferred that over the bland shrimp scampi that I had ordered.

We had our Christmas dinner here. We were greeted by a very friendly, welcoming staff member who seated us. The owner lady/front of house came over to say hi and chat and made us feel very welcomed. Food was good and plentiful. Restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. The chocolate mousse dessert was very tasty.

This restaurant was so good back in 2006, we don't know what happened. We raved about it to our friends and took them here for dinner during our last stay and we were so embarrassed because the food was gross.

We went for New Years Eve dinner, so there was a prix fix menu, you could not order off the regular menu. This was a bit disappointed as we all wanted something other than the 4 dishes they were offering. I had the chicken marsala, the gravy was a bit on the thin side and the chicken a bit rubbery.... Chef is real Italian, pasta was good. My wife had the Wahoo fish, was a little over cooked, but good. I had shrimp, conch, clams over pasta which was good. Service was best of the marketplace.

From the moment the smiling hostess welcomed us to the last bite of the scrumptious dinner, this restaurant was truly the best we encountered in the Marketplace. Super service, great food, a real step above the others.

Our family went to Giovanni's in Port Lucaya. The conch fritters are one of the best on the island - crispy and spicy. I had the pasta amatriciana, and it was delicious and wonderfully presented. The service was great as well. One of the best restaurants on the island.

Great atmosphere and service. They looked surprised when my wife and I ordered coke w/grenadine, but they were very accommodating. The bread was warm and delicious. I had the catch of the day, it was Wahoo. I had it prepared blackened. It was amazing and came with tasty mixed vegetables. Seriously the best fish I have eaten in Freeport, and... More
