Charming atmosphere, good food

Lovely little restaurant tucked away in the Lucaya Marketplace opposite the Grand Lucayan resort. There was seating indoor and out; it was a breezy night so we chose indoor. Lovely little restaurant tucked away in the Lucaya Marketplace opposite the Grand Lucayan resort. There was seating indoor and out; it was a breezy night so we chose indoor. We had the special meal for two. It was romantic and amazing. Great service, thank you to little Robert. The food was so good and it was nice to meet the owners as well. A big hit out of our vacation. Don't miss this place... Yummy!

Okay I'm a Bahamian and my husband and myself and many of my coworkers have dinner here which is usually take-out. They have the best cracked conch ever. The young lady at the cashier/takeout window has the best attitude and is always so pleasant to ALL customers. Now the same can not be said about the owner(female) of this restaurant... More

We had Valentine's dinner and it was fabulous! My husband said one of the best dinners ever! We enjoyed the Chef's Special-Seafood Pasta meal. It was fresh local seafood with pasta dressed with a spiced garlic oil, served with salad, bread, wine and ice cream for dessert--all for $49.95 plus added gratuity and tax (for 2). The Chef out did... More

On a recent trip to Grand Bahama looking for a place to eat I stumbled upon this restaurant. Greeted warmly with great energy by Speedy my night began week. They have an early bird special for pasta that runs from 4-6. I took advantage of it twice and both times enjoyed great meals. The house salad was excellent, pasta cooked... More

The food wasn't good. We all got upset stomach's. It didn't really taste spectacular either. Also when pointing out to the waiters that a lot of the shell fish we ordered (clams and mussels) didn't open which either meant they were spoiled or undercooked (or came from a frozen bag from the grocery store), they really didn't seem to get... We stumbled upon Giovanis. It was our favorite restaurant on our visit!! Fabulous surf and turf, loved the broiled lobster, and chicken Parmesan was delicious. Oleveta our waitress made our evening exceptional. She made suggestions (rosemary potatoes and broiled vs. Grilled lobster) were perfect. We will definitely return!!

The food was not that good comparing to the next door Italian restaurant. The ingredient was not fresh. They put too much sugar into sauce. Don't order the conch pasta for $18.

We visited at the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. My wife is gluten intolerant and they prepared her meal to meet that requirement. The menue selection is very good and prices on par with better restaurants in the Grand Bahamas. The service staff was friendly and professional which is a difficult combination to find in the Grand... More

On a recent trip to Freeport, my husband and I dined one evening at Giovanni's. We did not have a reservation, but were able to get a seat outdoors. The service was friendly and efficient, and we enjoyed a lovely meal of prosciutto and melon for starters, followed by spaghetti carbonara which was presented in an unusual, but very nice... More
