I spent about three hours here drinking, eating, and watching World Cup soccer. The food and drink was very good. Ordered shrimp dishes, and the shrimps were jumbo, well seasoned, as were the sides. Service was above average, but it took a while to get a few drinks. Gratuity will be included in your check.

There are SOME good restaurants in Port Lucaya. This one falls completely short. Seeing as it's Sunday and most restaurants (including Pisces,a wonderful pizza place that we wanted to go to) are closed,we settled for Iries. After we ordered our appetizer,we waited for a very long time. Nobody checked on us and instead we were forced to ask them to... More

Stayed 2 nites at the Lucayan and ate at Iries both nites. Couldn't wait to go back the second nite. Food, music, all great. The slow service is a plus because the music was so good. John

Simply put, the lobster was delicious and reminded me how they used to be - very sweet and a large size! I wish I could bring them home with me for every day!

We ate here twice while staying at the Grand Lucayan. The food was good - I had the blue cheese burger and my husband had fish. While the menu is limited we were pleased with our selections. There was live music most nights and we enjoyed the conch fritters and a drink one night. Now, some of the music is... More

Had the Conch Chowder which was tasty, not too runny and not too thick. Lobster Pizza also very good, it was about 14" big, too big just for myself to eat. Nice patio to people watch. Live music outside, would be a good place to come with a group for drinks.

We ate here once while there for two weeks. The food was average, and the service the same (You will find in Freeport, they are not in a hurry to serve You, probably because moat places include 15% gratuity to the bill). They are a bit on the pricey side, as they are attached to the Grand Lucayan Resort. Get... More

At the Grand Lucayan, Iries is a good evening hangout. Mango the nightly one man band entertainer is one of a kind. A blend of Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley and Lionel Richie, his smooth sounds entice you to park your butt on the patio to enjoy the tropical tunes and cocktails. The burgers are actually pretty good. The conch fritters... More

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch - ordered the conch fritters and two burgers. My friend ordered the spinach mushroom burger, and I ordered a caramelized onion and Swiss burger. The waiter was indifferent - sort of half-listening as I ordered. I asked for pigeon peas and rice (a Bahamian specialty) and was told that burgers only come with... More

Only come here if you do not have anywhere else you rather be. Service was slow. So slow that we had to remind them that we were still waiting. So slow that they would pretend that they did not see us wave to them...slow. Food was pretty good, though and liked that we could charge to the room. Had the... More
