Good food and great shark feeding

My life and I had been here before but we wanted to bring 4 family members with us. We ordered sea food and some chicken parmesan and everyone enjoyed the meal. At 7 and 8pm, a staff member rings a dinner bell and begins to throw food (chum?) into the water to feed the sharks. It is quite a... read more

How would you like to sit on a balcony, eat great food, wonderful drink AND feed sharks? If so, this is THE place! As a thank you to friends we were staying with, we went to Pier One and all I can say is wow! I had surf and turf comprising of a beautifully cooked steak and lobster tail, others... More

Great place for dinner or lunch. Fantastic views from the deck tables right on the oceans edge. Sushi was very fresh and tasted great. Menu also includes local foods as well.....conch fritters were a great app. They throw chum off the balcony every night to feed the local sharks. Wow...huge 8 to 10 ft sharks showed up in seconds to... More

Some of the drunks there made the show a little unnerving. Had a lady hold her little kid over the railing to see the sharks....dumbShlitz. The food was good and the staff was great. Since they rebuilt the place it is a little less homey but, a lot safer. The food prices are not too bad.

A must do in the Bahamas. Pier Ones food was fantastic. I found the sushi amazing. A little pricey for what you get. An added attraction is the hourly SHARK Feeding which you can participate in or just watch. I had the Seafood Pasta which was great and my wife had the Grouper. We also had sushi. Make this your... I am glad to see that the Sharks have come back, but the atmosphere will never be like the old place. I like the fact that the menu is La Dolce Vita, & East, but they need to add the menu from the Pub at Port Lucaya and I would eat here every time i am in Freeport. i would... More

We were so pleased with the atmosphere. The shark feedings are so much fun! My 9 year old LOVED! Sunset on the shipyard is breathtaking. Cons- food was mediocre at best. Rolls were stale, grouper was ok. I was disappointed that the $10 bucket of shark feed I bought my daughter was included in the automatic gratuity. It really should... More

A bit pricey, for the food, but the nightly show (shark feeding) is worth the extra price. Set outside on the deck, if there are night, so you can have a front row seat for the 7,8, or 9 pm feedings.

We visited Pier One last week. The food was pretty good (although expensive). My husband had a seafood pasta and I had the mahi mahi. Seeing and feeding the sharks along with the view, was the best part! It was a cool experience. A couple tips: if you want a good view of the ocean/shark feeding, call ahead for a... More
