Sushi and sharks...

It's not much to look at from the outside (or the inside), but the real view is on the outdoor porch where there is limited seating. Reservations are HIGHLY recommended if you want to be where the view and the action is (shark feeding @ 7PM & 8PM- call first to confirm). Hammerhead sharks can be... read more

Pier One is by far the best seafood place in town. They also feed the sharks around 6pm, 8pm and 9 pm each evening giving more excitement. They have a great variety of foods to try and each one will satisfy anyone's taste.

We attended the restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday with some friends while we were in the Bahamas after hearing the feeding the sharks was a must. Well, the sharks are definitely worth seeing, however the food is not worth going for. The restaurant has a confusing menu, or should I say two menus. They serve American as well as... More

Beautiful location right in Freeport harbour. We saw the only true sunset here(we were staying on the south shore in Lucaya). Restaurant is pricey and the food was of average quality, however, the shark feeding made up for it. We travelled with a 15 and 6 year old neither who had seen sharks before and the experience was unforgettable! Bring... More

Just returned from a trip to the Bahamas with my husband and two kids. One of the locals told us about Pier One Restaurant and how we can feed the sharks. We got to the restaurant at 6 pm so we can get good seats and have some appetizers and drinks for the 7 pm shark feeding. When we got... More

the pier one restaurant was a landmark until the hurricanes in 2004 and 2005 destroyed this unique restaurant. the restaurant which is since some years close to the old place has not the nice architecture but when you go there you can expect a wonderful sunset. one part of the restaurant is the :EAST: which offers sushi, sashimi and other... Location is awesome being right on the ocean, while relaxing and having a drink you can see the cruise ships go by! The food is great, and the service was very good. The ringing of the bell every hour when the sharks are fed makes it interesting. A must to visit.

Great atmosphere, and fun to watch and feed the sharks at 7, 8 and 9 pm nightly. We stayed for the 8 and 9pm shark feeding. Great fun for the whole family. Fresh seafood and excellent friendly staff. Best to make a reservation.

Nice place with awesome views. Food was good and the shark feeding was really neat. The place itself could use some upgrades. I would go back when vacationing in Freeport.
