Grouper and Pizza

We came here for lunch twice and had pizza delivered to us at Comfort Suites. The Grouper sandwich was very good and the prices were reasonable for the area. The service was on the slow side. The delivered pizza was not made as requested but we didn't check it when it was first delivered so... read more

Pros: Loved the outdoors seating! Anthony’s Grill had a great little outdoor patio with high top tables and big umbrellas. Perfect for a warm sunny day. I had a light but satisfying lunch with a bowl of their Havana black bean soup. This was definitely a welcomed treat after several days of eating mainly the deep fried food that is... More

We stopped here to try out a breakfast besides the free one we got at the comfort suites. The service was harried, the food mediocre, and the price was more than it should have been. It's nice to get away from the costly Atlantis culture, but this is not the place to do it.

My husband, son and I had dinner at Anthony's while vacationing at Atlantis. We ordered the grouper, ribs and chicken finger. All were average. We asked for loaded backed potatoes and we we given a potato with cut up Kraft singles and bacon bits on top. Not quite what I was hoping for. The waitress was very lackadaisical and aloof.... More

I had chopped salad and could not finish since such a large portion ($16.00) My husband had a burger and fries and enjoyed it. They had many "specials" that sounded great but were $28.00 each. For ravioli I really thought that was ridiculous since I can get plenty of that back in PA for a quarter of the price. Still,... More

Had a fried Grouper sandwich that was as good as anywhere. Wife had a burger which was good but nothing special. Fries with both that were typical food service fries (frozen till ordered then deep fried, not fresh cut). Service was cordial but slow. price was good for Paradise Island but would be overpriced for a resort in the US.

just like the title. Nothing special. Prices were a little cheaper then Atlantis and it was a nice break away from Atlantis dining options. Its worth it to go cause of the free wifi. The kids were entertained so we could enjoy a more quiet dinner which was nice.... $30 for a 1/2 chicken dinner with 1 side is kind... More

The pizza was great, big enough for 2 of us. I was not impressed with the house special chopped salad with chicken. Chicken was hard to find, and the dressing was bland.

We ate at Anthony's last month on our Bahamas vacation. The restaurant was right across our hotel so we wanted to give it a shot. My husband had the conch chowder and I had the stuffed shrimp, both was absolutely delicious, especially the chowder. The cocktails were great and the staff was friendly. We definitely would recommend it.

We were told that Anthony's has good pizza and decent prices. The pizza was average and the prices were high (although this is the case in most restaurants in the Bahamas hence no surprise there). So a 12'' pizza, a small salad, and 2 beers came down to $60. As for the atmosphere, it was ok. Nothing really to write... More
