Average Fried Food

Overall, average food, slow service. Careful eating fried food after daiquiris. Some specialty drinks are heavy and don't mix well with oil in fried foods. Conch chowder great but all other foods we had very average. Unless you enjoy fried foods, suggest other alternatives.

A friend recommended the Twin Brothers Restaurant during a recent cruise stop at Nassau. We took the local bus, either 1 or 7 get you there for $1.25 per person. Ask the bus drivers, they're helpful and friendly. (Or take a cab for $4 per person). The place is right on the water and they pull the conch out of... More

This restaurant is on the strip at Arawak Cay. Food is good (with big portions), especially the crack conch and conch fritters, and their side dishes (yummy peas n' rice, and cheesy yummy macaroni). I like that you have the option of outside dining or inside dining with ac for hot days. The daiquiris are good too but cups are... More

We (myself and two adult children) had lunch at Two Brothers while ashore from Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas. The restaurant is about a 30 minute walk up the beach from the cruise pier. We sat outside at a table under an umbrella, but they also had lots of seating inside (air conditioned). The women's washroom was very clean.... More

we had one trip here and very disappointed. We made a special trip for lunch and we both ordered the conch as hotel staff etc all recommended it. It was expensive and was overcooked rubbery calamari like food but not as good as that :(:( we did not go back

We went on February 20th. We promptly gave our order and received our drinks. We waited and waited for our food. We watched as all those around us received their food and tried to get their bills. When I asked I was told it was on its way several times. When the food finally came I was told it took... More

Went in to Twin brothers for drinks, sat at the upstairs dinning room because the music was to loud, waited almost an hour to be served, one waitress for the whole floor, ordered 6 Pina Coladas with alcohol, when finally received our drinks everyone complained that the drinks were virgin, proceeded to confront the waitress, all she said was, "... We were in Nassau for the day on a Monday. The whole Fish Fry area is kind of dead on Mondays. We ended up eating at Twin Brothers, because it was one of the few open shacks, and they had AC and restrooms. We wanted to take a break and enjoy some Bahamian Food. Unfortunately, because this area is so... More

My family and I have eaten here several years ago and we really enjoyed it. This year we came as a party of 18. They were able to seat us which was wonderful! First thing I noticed is that the prices went WAY up!!! I was very surprised. The service was slow but we were not in a hurry. The... More

The tourist menu is VERY expensive. We went with a local & our bill was 1/3 of tourist menu cost. They have the best drinks I have ever had. The conch fritters and guava duff are excellent. I had grouper as the main course it was also good. My husband was scared to try carribean food, so he had the... More
