I little pricey but the best meal I had in Nassau. I had the asparagus soup and spinach gnocchi and both were really tasty and sizes were larger than other meals I had in Nassau. They have plenty of meat and seafood options if you're not looking for Italian. Service was impeccable.

We've been coming to the Bahamas for the last 30 years. Out of all of the many restaurants here, this our favorite. We always go there at least twice and always for our last evening out because we know we won't be disappointed. The menu is creative and changes with the seasonal availability of the freshest ingredients. Sad that the risotto... More

Lovely outdoor garden setting, exemplary service and excellent kitchen skills complement an extensive and adventurous menu. Really nothing bad to say other than the pricing is way over the top by around 25% even by local standards. A must-do for those wanting a lovely romantic evening and delicious, expertly presented dishes, but expect some pain in your wallet!

The atmosphere is romantic enough - and the prices high enough - to warrant special occasion dining. The food is scrumptious enough you will want to find special reasons for occasions often. The gnocchi was some of the best I've ever eaten. The crab was perfectly prepared. The service was superior. Try it for your next special occasion .

When compared to the other "stand alone" restaurants on the island , Café Matisse is the most consistent in the quality of its food and service. I have enjoyed every meal I have had there, and have no complaints about the service. If I have guest and want to make sure there are no hiccups or bad restaurant experiences I... More

The outdoor garden is ideal for a beautiful dinner. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and we and our waiter had a long talk about sports, especially NCAA basketball. My steak was outstanding and better than at any of the Atlantis restaurants. My wife's duck was overcooked to her taste, but this barely detracted from the experience. We brought... More

Enjoyed our dinner, having visited based on a chance recommendation. Warm welcome and pleasant ambience on the outside terrace complemented by friendly, efficient service. Tried minestrone soup that was very good, followed by a grilled seafood platter and roast duck breast, both entrees also being very good with the seafood dish being close to excellent. The only disappointment was the... More

I visited the restaurant with 2 elderly relatives and my wife. We were seated in the very nice table in the garden that it was very nice. That's about it the food was just OK we had the lobster salad, duck calamari and Lobster linguine. The salad was not up to par flavor wise it was simply 4 thin slices... More

Our family of 14 enjoyed a late Christmas Eve lunch here at Cafe Matisse. Number 1 on Trip Advisor and we met some other travelers who are regulars that put it in their top 3. The service was amazing. The waiter was very polite and took his time with our big group and lots of questions. The meals were a... More
