I go to green parrot 4 times a week to get drinks. The food is good the drinks are great get the Long Island ice tea it's the best in town.
We ate lunch on the harbor, only because Atlantis turned us away without a day pass and quizno's at marina village was not our idea of bahamaian cuisine; a 12 oz. sands draft was $4; an order of 8 conch fritters was $10 (at least double what you'll find elsewhere); coconut shrimp was $7; the atmosphere on the harbor was... The food and service here were very good, and it was a nice place to hang for a few hours. The kids could run around on the grass.
Decent food and drinks, not a bad location near the harbor, and fairly clean. A little pricey compared to other local bars, especially if you don't carefully count your change.
I had the conch poboy sandwich. The deep-fried conch was okay and the plate was plentiful with fries. The meal was okay and I'm glad that I gave it a try. The service was pleasant and fairly prompt (for Bahama standards). The view of the waterway was nice to have. Next time I will cross the bridge and try one... More
We were a party of 9 looking for real island fare. When we got to the restaurant is was dark, it was defiantly local, locals hang out. The bar was busy and few other tables were taken, it is truly a rustic eatery. The server was great, very friendly and fun. The drinks were Ice Cold, Good size and a... More
The food is incredible. Taxi there and have the bartenders call a taxi for you and off you go. Wow, the food was amazing, menu is more American but its friggin awesome. Great views, outside bar, and a cool looking type run down atmosphere that people try to create. Years of being there Im sure created that perfection. Its located... More
We went here as we have done in the past, to grab some lunch, drinks and use the FREE WiFi. The bartender wascompletely rude and inattentive. Her father must own the place or she should have been fired immediately. We got there as it opened expecting to try the Conch fritters. That never happened because she kept telling us they... More
Visited as a family group of nine and the service was typical Bahamian...slow.... but we all were pleased with the meals that were presented. The view of the Atlantis at night across the water is stunning and the cruise ships in the distance look fabulous at night.
While staying at Harborside nearby our family of 4 came over twice at night for drinks and appetizers. They had some soccer matches on the TV's so our sons were happy and my husband and I watched the boats go by as it is right on the water. It took a while to get our appetizers but Island time rules... More
