This restaurant was my second choice on my first visit to Arawak Cay. The gentleman who approached us 'strongly' (he followed us once we arrived and wouldn't stop talking) encouraged us to have lunch at this restaurant since I wanted to try Conch Salad for the first time. This is a nice restaurant. Our waitress was nice and helpful. Initially... More

Best prices ... make sure you do the 20 minute walk from downtown and visit the fish fry area for a real treat. This particular restaurant was a recommendation from a local. The conch fritters had huge pieces of conch and the jerk chicken was nice and spicy. It will take a while to get your food though, since they... More

great food and service. We had the conch fritters, grouper fingers and cracked conch. A local named Pat is the one who told us about Goldies and he also took us there. Glad we went.

I have been here in the past and the food and service was usually good. Not good this time. The drinks were good. The conch fritters were pretty good(not much conch-mostly batter) but the service was not so great. The waitress greeted us with a "I'd rather be somewhere else" attitude, and then informed us that they were out of 3... More

I am the owner of Goldie's Conch House and was very concerned by the bad service you received at my restaurant. Please accept my apologies. If you remember the servers name please let me know. If you are ever back in Nassau please come by for lunch on the house.-Goldie More

After reading several reviews on local restaurants, we opted for Goldie's while on a cruise stop. Great decision! We walked from the cruise terminal and was very pleasant, stopping by Junkanoo Beach to dip our feet in the beautiful water. Were led to Goldie's by a local gentleman named Patrick. Goldie's is by far the most colorful building in Fish... More

We have been going to Goldies for the last 15 years. We love the owner Goldie, He has been the first place we go after the airport.. And it is the best conch in Nassau and the Caribbean. We love to see it yourself. they chop fresh conch at the restaurant for Conch Salad. Prices are good and the food... More

What I would lovingly call a local dive with a mix of tourists and locals eating there. We had read the reviews and when we were next to it, was approached to please come in. There was no place left to sit outside so headed to the dark interior and was pleased to see large screen TVs. They were offering... More

Great local fare,,, the flies kinda killed our lunch outside (mayne inside next time) but the chicken was great, fritters were really good and conch salad was typical of the cay. (I think my best conch salad was at The Anchorage at the corner..nice big pieces of conch the way I like it.) Arawak Cay is fun if you're prepared... More

Found out about Goldie's here on tripadvisor and I am so glad we did. We cruised to Nassau and from there we took the #10a jitney bus to the "Fish Fry" area. Actually we went too far and ended up at The Hilton at Cable Beach which was a good bit past where we wanted to go, but at $1.25... More

We stopped at Goldie's Conch House while in port at Nassau and we had an amazing lunch. I had the Cracked Conch platter (fried conch, rice and beans, friend plantains, coleslaw) and my husband had the Grilled Grouper (nice chunk of grouper and white rice). The food was outstanding and so fresh!! The portions were more than enough and everything is... More
