We came to "the Fish Fry" with anticipation of going to a restaurant previously when we were in the Bahamas... our taxi driver informed us that while the place that we were going to go wasn't owned by a local... and that we should try Goldie's. So glad we did! I had the Conch salad and my husband had the... More

Our hired tour guide/taxi driver took us to Goldie’s to show us how to clean fresh Conch, and to sample Conch Fritters as part of the tour. Everyone was very friendly and the service was average. Since it was the off season, we were the only ones there besides the locals that were eating there. The food came out hot... More

We walked into the "fish fry" area of Nassau and were shepherded into this interesting and delicious restaurant. I would say that you must try the Deep Fried Conch to make your trip to the Bahamas complete!

We walked down the sidewalk listening to all of the pitches for the restaurants at Fish Fry at Arawak Key in Nassau. We settled on Goldie's because the pitchman said that we could see the conch being cleaned and see how fresh our food would be. Sure enough, there were mountains of conch shells collecting in the water out the... More

We frequent this place because of the cracked conch. We don't go anywhere else. We call in 15 minutes in advance and by the time we reach the place food is ready. Looking for parking space maybe difficult in this area.

Food taste good. All of the seafood available was good. It is just that the dining area is small and it could get congested.

Thanks Patrick for bringing us in and showing us how you get the conch out of the shell and some knowledge about the conch. We had a great lunch and felt like part of the locals. We highly recommend this place. Prices were very fair and drinks were awesome!

Went back to Goldie's at Arawak Cay (da Fish Fry) on our recent cruise. Was craving their Conch Salad. Also ordered cracked conch both fried and grilled. The conch was tender and delicious. Their conch salad is the best I have had anywhere. Serving sizes are ginormous! Be sure to share plates. Do not go expecting to rush. Take your... More

We travel to Nassau Bahamas the week of July 8 - 12. Goodie Couch House celebrate there independence from the British and the party continue through the night.
