This is the real Bahamian food experience you are looking for! There are so many choices at the area called Fish Fry. There are many places to see at the Fish Fry, but don't miss Goldies. Ask for Goldie, he is a great conversationalist. The view off the back is spectacular, and typical Nassau local venue. Beer is cold, and the music is great, and they will pull the conch right out of the Ocean to make your conch salad. Enjoy.

Goldie, James, Rosie...the whole crew treated us like family. I felt like we were actually neighbors! This was one of the highlights of our cruise. And I can't wait to go back! The food and drinks were fabulous. Please, do not bother with the upper part of Fish Fry! Head to the end of the street to Goldie's. It's the... More

There was a man flagging us down trying to get us to go into Goldie's as there are many restaurants to choose from in this little fishing village area. We did end up going, and glad we did. Food was very good, although all fried. Conch fritters were great and restaurant had free wifi. We took a short bus ride... More

We walked to the fish fry area during our cruise stop in Nassau. There are ~10 restaurants in the area, many with people pushing you to come in. A gentlemen called us over and showed us the reviews online and convinced us to come in. The fried conch and fries was great, $12, and they showed us how they prepared... More

By far the best Conch salad in the island. The portions were huge enough to feed two light eaters. The place is kids friendly and their chicken nuggets is tasty enough for my picky eater. James our waiter was very polite and pleasant he even offered to go get apple juice because they had ran out. The conch was amazingly... More

Conch conch and conch - that is what we had but there is plenty of good choices. Goldie's has been in business for 26 years for a very good reason - the food is great. It is fresh and you can taste the Bahamas in every bite. Get out to Arawak Cay by bus, bike, car or walk - just... More

I have come to the Island several times and eating here is a must. Everything is simply wonderful and extremely fresh. You will not be disappointed. i was there last Monday and the great foods continue to amaze me. It is a must visit when on the Island. You can catch the city bus for under $2.00 from any cruise... We just arrived in Nassau and after checking in caught the jitney bus to Fish Fry expecting it to be one restaurant. It is actually dozens of eatery's and confusing which one to choose. Patrick was giving us the hard sell in front of Goldie's and we decided to make a lap around all the places instead of being coax... More
