Thanks Patrick for bringing us in and showing us how you get the conch out of the shell and some knowledge about the conch. We had a great lunch and felt like part of the locals. We highly recommend this place. Prices were very fair and drinks were awesome!

Went back to Goldie's at Arawak Cay (da Fish Fry) on our recent cruise. Was craving their Conch Salad. Also ordered cracked conch both fried and grilled. The conch was tender and delicious. Their conch salad is the best I have had anywhere. Serving sizes are ginormous! Be sure to share plates. Do not go expecting to rush. Take your... More

We travel to Nassau Bahamas the week of July 8 - 12. Goodie Couch House celebrate there independence from the British and the party continue through the night. The red snapper and the couch salad is the best on the island. The service was was wonderful and we had fried couch that was equally good. We enjoy the food at... More

I visited Goldie's when they were not busy. The food was really good. The potato salad was awesome! The service was poor. My drink was bottled water. I asked for a glass of ice. Everyone else in my group got their ice. I never got any. One person ordered an appetizer but never got it. The waitress did say she... More

We were shown the back area where the conch shells are piled- kind of interesting. We ordered conch fritters which were OK, fried conch- kind of like fried calamari but a lot tougher, they were ok and grouper sticks, on the advise of the waitress, that was the best thing. It took almost an hour for our food to arrive.... More

Food was too greasy and spicy for my group. Several people in the group were unable to eat the food due to the spice level. After eating the food, several other members of our party became sick. Very dark and shady....

Goldies in in an area called the fish fry. From downtown Nassau take the number 10 bus...it is easy and there is no charge/fare. We went to Goldies on the bus drivers recommendation. It was good, authentic and VERY rustic. We had a good time, and the food was good.

On our way to the Fish Fry, our cab driver Sterling Silver recommended Goldie's out of over 40 restaurants in Arawak Cay. My best friend's and I had dinner at Goldie's twice on a three night trip, enough said. The atmosphere on a Sunday night was festive. DJ spinning the best of hip hop and reggae, patrons dancing, and dinner... More
