Skeptical at first, but had an awesome experience. fried conch was great

We walked to the fish fry area during our cruise stop in Nassau. There are ~10 restaurants in the area, many with people pushing you to come in. A gentlemen called us over and showed us the reviews online and convinced us to come in. The fried conch and fries was great, $12, and they showed us how... read more

Conch conch and conch - that is what we had but there is plenty of good choices. Goldie's has been in business for 26 years for a very good reason - the food is great. It is fresh and you can taste the Bahamas in every bite. Get out to Arawak Cay by bus, bike, car or walk - just... More

I have come to the Island several times and eating here is a must. Everything is simply wonderful and extremely fresh. You will not be disappointed. i was there last Monday and the great foods continue to amaze me. It is a must visit when on the Island. You can catch the city bus for under $2.00 from any cruise... We just arrived in Nassau and after checking in caught the jitney bus to Fish Fry expecting it to be one restaurant. It is actually dozens of eatery's and confusing which one to choose. Patrick was giving us the hard sell in front of Goldie's and we decided to make a lap around all the places instead of being coax... More

From the attitudes of the servers and management to filthy conditions! Can not comment on the food because no one in the restaurant had any after being seated for over an hour. Go to the Poop Deck instead!

So as we walked through the fish fry many different locals came up trying to intice us to try there restaurant. At the end of the walk way ( we had walked over the bridge from paradise island) an extremely relaxed and friendly man (Pat) approached is asking if we had even seen a live conch before. Interested I told... More

First, be sure to go to the Fish Fry area at Arawak Cay in Nassau. If you walk from the downtown area, Goldies is at the end of the fish fry row. Great ambiance and outdoor seating, great service, nice people, good prices, and great food.

Food was good, it's a little bar setting, still one of the best along the fish fry district. Service was good as well and was an intimate setting.

I love Conch, and this place had one of the best fried Conch I have ever had. The service was prompt and staff was very good and pleasant. Our time was so much fun here.
