Delicious!

We had the chicken curry and Thai beef and wanted to cry they were so good. Even though we chose non-Bahamian dishes, it was still probably our best meal during our week here. This restaurant is nice... the interior is a bit dull and most of the time is to hot to eat outside. The staff is super friendly and the food is good however I think it's a bit over priced for what you get. However would recommend going there at least once specially to have the smoked salmon apetizer... well worth... More

This is a nice tucked away spot off of Bay St with a great balcony. The space is very tastefully decorated and has a very nice personal touch as the photos are from the owners' family. Best thing on the menu is the conch chowder - while I do like traditional conch chowder, this curry version is a really nice... More

Any dish you choose at this restaurant will impress you. The choice is eclectic, and the staple meals - steak, fish, salads - have a European twist that delights the tongue. The accomplished chef has traveled far, and this is evident by the mature use of spices, especially from the orient. I like this place! Sometimes the service can vary,... More

We visited this restaurant as part of a food tour, and stopped here for conch chowder. The servers were welcoming and the chowder was delicious, with a Thai flair. I received the recipe and have tried re-creating it at home, and we have enjoyed our homemade version, although we cannot get conch and must substitute. Shrimp is a good sub.

Great Restaurant with a wide selection of food. We specifically went for the Coconut Curried Conch Chowder then I had Snapper while my wife had a vegetarian plate. Everything tasted great and the service was superb. Stop by even if it is just for a afternoon drink and a bowl of chowder

We stopped here as part of a food tour. The conch chowder was delicious. Plenty of conch meat, as well as a spicy, South Asian inspired broth. Yum.. Would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant.

I am a frequent patron on Van Breugel's and I always have a lovely experience. I love the old historic Bahamian building and the food is consistently good. Pepsi, the waitress, is a delight!

As soon as you walk into the restaurant you are greeted by a friendly staff, the menu offers a wide variety and trust me I've tried just about everything on this menu. Situated right off of Bay Street means that you can relax and enjoy your food without having to worry about being disturbed. The owner is always there and... More
