The grouper burger ($20) was not much better than the Filet of Fish sandwich at McDonald's down the street. We spent $50 for lunch for two and had no drinks or dessert.

We tried conch fritters for the first time and loved the taste. Kind of like hush puppies with a cooked conch baked in the center.

This little restaurant has a local feel but caters to tourists. Excellent place to eat lunch. Try their cracked conch or their grouper burger. Staff is very friendly. I have been on the island for two weeks and have eaten lunch there about 8 times. Highly recommended.

Asked a local traffic person for a good place to eat for Bahamian food. She told us to go to Conch Fritters, about a mile from where we were (city center). We walked past many other restaurants but kept going. The restaurant is open air and humidity was high that day, but it was he middl of summer. We ordered... More

We wanted to try local food and this fit the bill. We had conch fritters, the curry chicken lunch special and rum drinks (took two for the road). The people were very friendly and we had a fun stop before we hit the beach. Conch Fritters $10. Curry chicken with wonderful rice and coleslaw lunch special $8. Drinks $6.

Conch is a mussel that is indigenous to the Bahamas. It's cooked in every imaginable way but we had it fried and also as fritters. It's chewy but very good! The shell is also very beautiful and is sold as a souvenir.

Five of us stopped in here to try some conch fritters. I don't want to make this a lengthy review, I just want everyone to know how horrible this place is! The waitress was incredibly rude and ignored us for long periods of time, the food was greasy and disgusting and the bill was over $100 for 3 conch fritters,... More

I heard the fritters were good here. If I didn't have a great meal this review would be terrible. We ordered the conch fritters and the food was just batter. Hardly any conch. The grilled mahi mahi and grouper was excellent. Make sure you ask for light on the seasoning. Service was good. Beware..... this establishment always has an issue... More
