This restaurant was previously known as Indigo. It was sold and a new team took over. They had great aspirations, but not a clue how to manage this restaurant. The "chef"/cook was incapable, the front-of-house persons were arrogant and distant, the whole atmosphere was tense and uncertain, and unhappy. Bahamians did not support the place; nor did winter residents who... More

I used to enjoy this restaurant but it has been closed and replaced by an Italian restaurant, Sinfonia. Sinfonia was closed during the holiday period but should reopen in January.

The food here is delightful, but not cheap. We stayed on Cable Beach and this place was within walking distance of our resort, we only ate here once, the last night of our trip, but definitely would have been more if we had found it sooner! It's still called Indigo (As of mid June 2013) No sign of this "pot... More

Excellent food and fantastic staff. The salad was excellent and the atmosphere perfect. Had the chicken breast and it was awesome. Anytime you are on an island the food is a little more pricey than at home but this restaurant was quite reasonable. Sat outside and received outstanding service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch on a beautiful May afternoon. There is indoor and outside seating, we went outdoors. Indigo Café is located on W. Bay St. among shops and other restaurants.(no sign of pot and cakes logos, menus say Indigo Café). Our server Jonathan came right over and was very friendly and attentive. There were 4 in our group. We... More

Read a lot of the other reviews before picking this restaurant. Our experience was great. Very speedy service and the food was wonderful. I had shrimp curry and my friend had shrimp linguine and they were both fabulous. Wish I could remember our waiters name case he was great.

Indigo is always one of my favorites and while I was in no hurry it is note worthy that from the time I got my wine to when they took my food order was about 40 minutes. They were not busy but it did appear the waiter was new. I had grilled shrimp and salad which was very good.

We stayed in Nassau for 6 days and explored West Bay Road a little bit West of our hotel on foot to try to get away from the more built up, tourist trap areas. We came upon Indigo Cafe (stilll called that, no sign of "Pot & Cakes" that the other reviewers mentioned). We asked to see the menu and... More

First of all, this restaurant has been renamed the Pot and Cake. We went there for a lunch and were quite impressed by everything but the speed of service. I know, it is the normal Caribbean phenomenon. The way to overcome it is to stress (politely) that you are in a bit of a hurry. Apart from that the welcome... More

Having Lindsay as our hostess was a pleasure. Yannick was our waiter. They were friendly and the service was good. Our dinner was the lobster mac and cheese. Tasty entree. The warm cherry bread was good. Eating anywhere on the island seems to be on the expensive side.
