Best Meal we had on the Island! Delicious, and large portions. We had the grouper( Fresh and best ever!), rice and peas ( Island Favorite), grilled shrimp ( Great), Fried Plantains and cold slaw. all very good. The waitress was very friendly. Prices are moderate for the Island.

Took our family of four to Andros for Bahamian dining as recommended by hotel staff. We walked from the Straw Market (approximately 1 plus miles) and arrived around 4PM. The restaurant was not crowded, but it did take a long time to order and receive our food. The atmosphere is all booth seating, air conditioned, plenty of TV's and dark... More

Ok, first thing to know is that you are on Island time. A tour guide told us earlier in the day that bahamians have only two speeds: slow and stop. So expect a wait for your food, at least an hour. But thats everywhere on the island and believe me, the wait is worth it at Andros! The food was... More

Big Mama will always take care of you at Andros, make sure you ask for her :) I was in Nassau for two weeks and ate at Andros several times. It can be a little slow, but it's a great value and the food is delicious!

Service was slow but food was by far better then twin brothers. The people are very friendly, the price is more then fair and the portions are overwhelming.

The best local food on the island. Don't leave the Bahamas until you've eaten at Oh Andros. Portions are huge. The Mac and Cheese to die for! The price....excellent!!! Service was slow, but the food was well worth the wait. My girlfriends and I are headed back to Nassau in August and plan to definitely dine again at Oh Andros.... More
