This is one of the many spots in the Fish Fry. It has large servings of fresh food. As you wait for your food. You will notice a steady stream of locals waiting for their carry out orders. Always a good sign when traveling. The lobster is great. Might want to conKaiser splitting a plate with your companion or not.... More

We took a cab to the fish fry strip. The cab driver dropped us a few doors down from Andros where a lady was waiting to seat us at her restaurant. I think the cab driver gets kick backs from them. Anyway, I made sure to get our group into Andros because of the reviews here. It was well worth... More

Awesome food. Best prices but it's the Bahamas so it's pricey figure $30/person with drinks. They get fresh fish and conch EVERY day. They sell out of potato salad so if you like it go early

The fish fry is the name given a number of restaurants strung along a dirt parking lot in Nassau all of which serve the same type of local food. However there is a difference in quality. Before choosing andros I asked a number of locals which they preferred and this was the name that came up the most often. The... More

We went there on the advice of a taxi driver and it was great! It was in the Fish Fry which is a long strip of fish shacks in Nassau. It's not fancy smancy just simple but what do you need when it's all about the Bahamian relaxed atmosphere and local food here. The food is amazing-grouper, rock shrimp, Bahamian... More

Andros has become a mandatory place to eat when we visit Nassau. The seafood is wonderfully prepared and the portions are HUGE! I recommend their Conch Salad. Takes a while to serve because they have to pull the conch from its shell and prepare it fresh on the spot. Also love their Cracked Conch which is fried tenderized conch. Most... More
