We have been quite a few times now to the Taj Mahal and we are always warmly greeted. Every single meal has been amazing and the service awesome. We always try new dishes and have NEVER been disappointed. My partner and I really enjoy this place. If you are a curry lover then you will defiantly like the Taj Mahal.... More

If you are looking for authentic Indian food, this is not the place to go. The food was ok, but not what we expected when ordering Indian Food. The Chicken Tikka Masala was really red in color (it should normally be orangey), and the flavor was very different, more of a spicy chicken curry than a tikka masala. The service... More

This place has a very different ambience from most of the restaurants in Nassau. On one side is what seems very much like an old English pub and on the other side is the restaurant (also seeming like an old English pub dining room). Our waitress was charming and helpful. We had poppadums to start and then chose three vegetarian... More

We visited Taj Mahal, the decor was awesome and with a good ambience. Our server was Mini, we ordered popadoms for starters. Mini gave some good advice regarding the menu and was very attentive. I ordered chicken madras, Kelly ordered the Fish (Grouper) curry. We shared the vegetable jalfrezi and Peshwari nan. It was so delicious and the spice level... More

Forget all the rest, this is the spot! Great food, good service, good beer, what more is there?! Right in town, we love this place.

Ok, so you wouldn't normally think of going to an Indian restaurant in the Bahamas, but trust me this place is worth it. The food is delicious, and service is fast and friendly, and the portions are very large. It's a bit pricy, but the atmosphere and beautiful decor couple with the quality of the food make it worth it.... More

The Taj Mahal restaurant has a monopoly in the Bahamas. They are the only Indian restaurant on the islands! As a result, food quality and customer satisfaction are not at all prioritized. We dined here for dinner and ordered tadka daal (lentils), Bombay aloo (potato), and garlic naan (bread). The daal was watery and flavorless while the aloo had entirely... More

The only Indian restaurant in Bahamas. Overall the food quality of certain dishes were average. But if you are Indian food person, then it leaves no choice but to visit this restaurant. The appetizers were good. Overall I would rate is average.
