We ate at Candie's at the Fish Fry. The food was great, we had the grouper fingers and the jerk chicken. The owner was very friendly and explained all their items. Food came with rice and peas, and a choice of two additional sides each. When the bill came, it was hand written, and they added a 15% charge, which... More

A few things you need to understand if you must go: Know what Conch is before eating it...you may not be interested!!! make sure it is cooked!!! 1). The menus are all the same. Seafood, rice, peas, macnchees 2). The prices are all the same at each place plus or minus $2.00 3). They all offer free drinks to entice... More

I hope we are talking about the fish fry at Port Lucaya. If so, my friend was raving about the fish she got.

If u want to experience real Bahamian food from its taste, freshness to the size of portion to the atmosphere, this is definitely the place. The food is wonderful and the price is affordable/reasonable. Weekends are packed but if it's food u want then any day is good. A conch(whatever way) is a must taste!

You will have plenty of places to choose from to sample island food and drink . Twin Brothers has burgers and fries for those scared too go too far over the edge into local food. I recommend conch fritters, conch salad, and the fried fish.

Atmosphere Fish Fry's is not just a restaurant, its a place with several restaurants offering a variety of local and international dishes. Its a cool place to hang with a great Caribbean vibe. Its generally clean, for the days I went (everyday). The people were friendly, I did not feel pressure to buy anything or dine anywhere, so I was... More
