What a shock! I go regularly to Nassau on business and had planned to go to the Graycliff many times - because of the article in the Flight Magazine. What a rip-off! Very overpriced for really bland food. What I found very negative was the fact that in the course of a one and a half hour meal, we had... more

If you really enjoy fine dining, this is the place. Add to that hand rolled cigars and oh my! The wine cellar tour is worth the time and overall - this is a must visit restaurant while in the area. more

This was our best meal experience in Nassau. If you are doing the walking tour, stop in for lunch and you won't be sorry. We were too early but were encouraged to walk the grounds and had a lovely stay by the pool watching the birds. Once again inside we sat in a welcoming living room and chatted with the... more

We were in Nassau for a week. We got to eat at 5 of the top 10 restaurants. I'll post reviews on Cafe Matisse, Mesa Grill, Nobu, and Poop Deck soon. But, Graycliff stole my heart. We had a party of 10. Upon arrival we were escorted into a gracious lounge for beverages. I understand the drink of the day... more

A perfect evening - we watched the cigar rollers, walked through the garden to the pool, had cocktails in the lounge while perusing the menu, enjoyed the pianist / singer who sang our requests, ate our perfect meal (an amazing salad and creamy pasta for me) and drank our wine, then smoked our freshly-rolled cigars in the lounge, and finally,... more

We recently ate dinner at Graycliff, based on several personal recommendations. Overall, it was very disappointing. The restaurant seems to be expensive for the sake of being expensive, rather than in order to provide excellent food. With the mandatory 18% gratuity, our bill was approximately $1000 including one bottle of wine. Check the bill - ours contained several drinks we... more

While the room was beautifully furnished and staffed with many well-meaning and helpful waiters, the dinner itself was a disaster. Since when is coquille st. jacques served with mashed potatoes instead of a cream sauce (at $18 no less)? Why offer a fish dish prepared "en papiotte"($45) when it's wrapped up and sealed in aluminum foil with some herbs and... more
