Excellent food, in the heart of the Bay Street and the most friendly staff. The Chicken Gyro was fabulous and the staff recommended other dishes. It was one of the few places where the food was not over priced and was actually flavourful.

I came here with my husband and two adult children. They ordered various typical Greek dishes: gyro, dolmades, etc. I ordered the red fish. I have never had anything like it. The server's father and brother caught it earlier in the day. It had a spice rub and I have been dreaming of that fish and trying to replicate it... More

I went on the Saturday after the 4th of July when there were many cruise liners docked in town so the restaurant was packed but the wait staff was friendly and professional, and the food FAN-tastic! I'll definitely go back the next time I'm in Nassau.

Greek food may not be your first thought to Bohemian cooking, but this place was great. Luckily, we were staying on the island several days and had the time to try local Bohamian food at some other restaurants. We came to Athena on a walking food tour, and enjoyed it so much we came back on our own for lunch.... More

Ive ordered fried calamari at five star restuarants, that ive had to send back because its over cooked and rubbery ...Ive yet to have any that compares to the calamari that i ate from this place. Salad and bread is ok.. service strange.. maybe shady, but the fried calamari is the best i ever tasted.

Athena Cafe is a great choice to have lunch in Nassau, the food is very tasteful and waiters really kind, the salad and pita bread are fantastic. The restaurant is in the main street and you can spend time in the balcony looking the movimentation or talking to the owner who is very kind too.

My wife and I were downtown shopping during our vacation, when we saw the sign for Athena Cafe. The sign directed us to go into the jewelry store and up the stairs, so we were not sure at first. We were seated outside on the balcony overlooking downtown as soon as we walked up the stairs. The wait staff was... More

Four of us enjoyed a wonderful lunch at a reasonable price here. their country salad was very fresh and simply tasty. Their gyro meat was good as well as their grilled chicken. We'd recommend this for lunch or dinner.

I had the Greek coffee with some of Baklava then smoked a cigar on the upstairs terrace it was the best part of my trip. The service was the best I've had in Nassau.
