We stopped at Athena Cafe & Bar for a drink and a snack. You can get in the restaurant through the jewelry store but the first sign that got our attention is sneaking you through the backdoor/fire escape. After ringing the bell it took a while before anybody opened. The moment we came in the staff became more professional. We... More

We go here every year and sometimes twice a year and this is the absolute best food. The family that owns this restaurant are the nicest and very professional. I will continue to go there everytime I am in Nassau. Cracked Conch is great. Hats off to the owners

This was my best meal on the trip! The staff was very welcoming and attentive. I had shrimp soulvaki, grilled vegetables and rice. The others in my group had gyros, excellent.

Found this place while taking a food tour. It is upstairs from a jewelry store. Small, but good. All family owned and very authentic Greek cuisine in the Bahamas! Worth checking it out. Greek salad is the big seller.

Went with a group of 5. The owner noticed that our two year old was hungry and threw in a complimentary soup. The Tzatziki was amazing, which resulted in possibly the best Gyro's the other 4 of us had ever had. The staff was friendly (a rare thing in this part of town, seemingly) and checked on us often. Too... More

We popped in just before heading to the airport and wish we had more time to have a bigger meal or come back for dinner, which we will do next time we're back in the Bahamas. The service was fantastic, and staff were very helpful and warm. Good selection of drinks too! Definitely head there if you're craving something fresh... More

The spot may be great but this restaurant is dishonest in its practices. The items on the menu is not what they serve. The Lamb Gyros does not contain lamb but vegetable & soy. I am a seasoned lamb eater and have grown up preparing it. When I confronted them they could not look me in the eye. I am... More

Our friends love this place. We joined them for lunch. Not cheap. $150.00 for five small dishes. I complained to my friend that my husband's salad had only one olive. She asked the waiter to bring more olives. He brought three olives. The three olives were on the bill $1.50. Come on, 50 cents for an olive. The spinach pie... More

All our food (meals, deserts and greek coffee) was excellent as was the service. We were getting ready to catch a flight and they made sure that our order and food was handled quickly and professionally. Wish I could have eaten here again.
