Maybe the title is too dramatic, but i was surprized at the quality and quantity of the food. The salad bar is well stocked with a limited selection of fresh items.

Sorry Maho. As much as I loved staying at the Maho camps, the food at the restaurant is terribly overpriced, overrated, and overcooked. My $21 got me a luke-warm ice tea and one trip to the salad bar with a tiny bowl, but a breaded tilapia with rice and peas that I could have made at home - with much... More

If you go before Jun 13--go to this place! It is about to close for good in May--losing a 40-year lease. Really sad. Be sure to visit the Maho art shop for great glass, batik, and pottery. The road is partially not paved--so would be trickier in wet weather.

Felt like we were at summer camp dining here admits the trees. We loved the views and the food was quite good. Really enjoyed the salad bar too. Great steak and fish. Highly recommend it.

We arrived in Maho Bay by sail boat and heard there was a good restaurant at the ecco camp about 280 wooden steps above the beach. We went ashore, locked our dingy to a tree and climbed up into the forest to the camp, high above the bay. I am not exactly an ecco camp kind of guy, but the... More

Went here with some friends that live on St. John at their recommendation and I must say for a "campground" the food was amazing. A most pleasant surprise. One of the best meals we ate on St. John. We went on Friday which is prime rib night. They also had other selections including scallops in a pasty shell and a... More

we have eaten here a few times and the salad bar is always fresh, free drinks (water or iced tea) and the food is good. They have movie nights on the pavilion and the sun sets are sectacular

When I heard that we were having dinner at a campground, I was intrigued. We got there and the menu was fried chicken, meatloaf, and a tomato/mozzarella panini. Living in the south, I didn't have high hopes for our options. It was DELICIOUS! Everything was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere, OMG! We watched the sunset from the patio. Could not have... More

This is the only place to eat out around Maho Bay camps for the people who don't want to go to town. The place is overpriced in terms of food (1.5X), but that's to be expected. The food is quite decent there, and the view of Maho Bay is breathtaking, especially at sunset.

Wonderful food (usually, there are a couple of bad nights) and stay for the sunset. It is not open for lunch, but it is for breakfast and dinner. And every night there is some sort of a presentation. Those can range from documentaries, live musical performances, movies on fridays, and slideshows. I would also recommend checking out the glass blowing... More
