St. John Scoops is the island's one and only place for homemade ices and creams. We make everything in-house and fresh every day! This means that our flavors are constantly changing, so what you see on the menu one day can be completely different the next day! We offer local fruit flavors like passion fruit, mango, and guava, along with old-time staples like strawberry and vanilla. We mix it up a bit by throwing in some local honey and lavender, or some St. John Brewer's Root Beer (yes, as an ice cream)! Don't worry, we also make some amazing chocolate, cookies & cream, and pistachio among the many other flavors on the rotation. Did we mention that we have something for just the big kids, too? That's right, rum raisin with real rum, painkiller ice cream, champagne sorbet, and the list does go on! When you walk by, you're sure to smell those fresh waffle cones being made...Nothing like a fresh scoop on a fresh cone, that's for sure! We are excited to offer vegan, superfood smoothies made with whole fresh frozen fruits (NO ICE) and an array of amazingly healthy additions to keep minds and bodies happy! Add some hemp or plant protein to make it a complete meal, and you won't feel so bad about all the bars you hit the night before. Virgin Island Coffee Roasters' Fair Trade Organic Sumatran Blend is served hot all day long for those in need of that caffeine buzz. We have lots of options for dairy-free and gluten-free guests, including sorbets and our yummy Slush Puppies.

What a great addition to Mongoose Junction! Someone recommended it to us when we arrived on the island, but what really caught our attention was the aroma of those fresh-made waffle cones in the air as we walked around. Great ice cream that is made just up the street . Flavors change often, so be sure to go back for... More

Amazing ice cream in the heart of Cruz Bay! Well worth your time to stop and get some ice cream after a long day. Everything is homemade and all natural. We tried the peanut butter and the chocolate and they were great.

This place has had great reviews and I can definitely see why. They have a lot of unique flavors. Unfortunately we got there and there was a huge line and only one person working. We had waited for so long and we saw how long the line was behind us that we didn't ask for a sample and I wish... More

We went one night after our snorkeling trip. The kids loved it. We use it own Italian Ice and Ice creams shops and can be judgmental. We were pleased with the quality and would return. The prices are a little inflated but that's to be expected on an island. There's a lot to take into consideration, prime real estate and... More

If you're anywhere near Mongoose Junction, you are drawn to this counter by the scent of vanilla that permeates the air. Our kids found it on our second day on the island and fell in love so we were back MANY times! Note: They have a "club" card, which makes your 10th item free, but that must be a cup.... More

This stand has many flavors of ice cream. The waffle cones are made onsite. This was a nice treat on a warm evening.

We love ice cream, especially after dinner. The smell of the freshly made waffle cones will lure you over here. And that is when reality overcomes your lofty expectations. The ice cream is ok- maybe even good - but not worth the frustration. We went at 8pm and when asked for hot fudge the guy said he forgot to turn... More

We went out of our way (figure of speech) to try this ice cream based on the reviews. The homemade waffle cones and ice cream were so good!! Fun stop!

The ice creams I tried were all amazing and delicious (chocolate, cookies'n'cream, mint/grasshopper, and coconut). The mint "grasshopper" was probably the best mint I've ever tasted. They make their own waffle cones right on the spot and you can smell the toasting goodness as you approach the little stand. My one complaint: my husband is Type 1 Diabetic and would... More
