Description: St. John Scoops is the island's one and only place for homemade ices and creams. We make everything in-house and fresh every day! This means that our flavors are constantly changing, so what you see on the menu one day can be completely different the next day! We offer local fruit flavors like passion fruit, mango, and guava, along with old-time staples like strawberry and vanilla. We mix it up a bit by throwing in some local honey and lavender, or some St. John Brewer's Root Beer (yes, as an ice cream)! Don't worry, we also make some amazing chocolate, cookies & cream, and pistachio among the many other flavors on the rotation. Did we mention that we have something for just the big kids, too? That's right, rum raisin with real rum, painkiller ice cream, champagne sorbet, and the list does go on! When you walk by, you're sure to smell those fresh waffle cones being made...Nothing like a fresh scoop on a fresh cone, that's for sure! We are excited to offer vegan, superfood smoothies made with whole fresh frozen fruits (NO ICE) and an array of amazingly healthy additions to keep minds and bodies happy! Add some hemp or plant protein to make it a complete meal, and you won't feel so bad about all the bars you hit the night before. Virgin Island Coffee Roasters' Fair Trade Organic Sumatran Blend is served hot all day long for those in need of that caffeine buzz. We have lots of options for dairy-free and gluten-free guests, including sorbets and our yummy Slush Puppies.

The ice cream lover in me couldn't stay away from this place. Some flavors better than others--the coconut combined with chocolate---yum yum! Just what the doctor ordered after a long day at the beach.

Little storefront with great ice cream in fresh waffle cones, slushies, and proteinfiber shakes. Something for everyone. We went to Scoops at Mongoose Junctions at least four times. The ice cream flavors varied (fruit flavors as well as more typical flavors). Only problem is eating it before it melted in the tropical heat and maybe they should think about having... More

During a recent vacation in the islands my wife, baby, and niece took several trips to St John. This was the perfect place to stop on the way to the north shore beaches after hopping off the ferry. The kale smoothies are really really good and a nice light way to get the day going. They're made with fresh fruits... More

They make their ice cream from scratch which I really appreciate. I had the 2 scoops for $5. Chose 1 scoop of coconut and 1 scoop of chocolate, both great! Would go back again.

Stopped in for a post-snorkel ice cream treat today with my family. Delicious ice cream with creative flavors. Can smell the waffle cones baking throughout Mongoose Junction. Was a bit shocked to have to hand over $21 for three cones...but perhaps that is par for the course in St. John. However, upon taking the second bite of my cone, it... More

Fresh waffle cones made before your eyes - yummy ice cream, it all totals up to a very tasty experience! A tad expensive, but what isn't on St. John!? I highly recommend this treat at least once during your stay!

Stopped here on our way back from Francis beach. We were all very hot and thirsty. I asked for an iced tea or coffee, and was told that they had neither. I saw that hot coffee was being served and asked for that with some ice. I was told that they don't serve that! The server was a nasty snotty... More

We initially visited this establishment in March of 2014, right after it opened and loved it! We went six nights in a row and everything - ice cream, service - was spectacular! We went back in early July 2014, and were extremely disappointed. They were sold out of most flavors and the service was awful. The girl was quite rude... More

We loved the ice cream and the home made waffle cones. We tried the Heath bar, Grasshopper, and cookies and cream all delicious! We went back 3x during the week we were there.

The ice cream is good, but flavor choices get limited as they are so busy and seem to be selling out quickly of homemade flavors.
