St. John Scoops is the island's one and only place for homemade ices and creams. We make everything in-house and fresh every day! This means that our flavors are constantly changing, so what you see on the menu one day can be completely different the next day! We offer local fruit flavors like passion fruit, mango, and guava, along with old-time staples like strawberry and vanilla. We mix it up a bit by throwing in some local honey and lavender, or some St. John Brewer's Root Beer (yes, as an ice cream)! Don't worry, we also make some amazing chocolate, cookies & cream, and pistachio among the many other flavors on the rotation. Did we mention that we have something for just the big kids, too? That's right, rum raisin with real rum, painkiller ice cream, champagne sorbet, and the list does go on! When you walk by, you're sure to smell those fresh waffle cones being made...Nothing like a fresh scoop on a fresh cone, that's for sure! We are excited to offer vegan, superfood smoothies made with whole fresh frozen fruits (NO ICE) and an array of amazingly healthy additions to keep minds and bodies happy! Add some hemp or plant protein to make it a complete meal, and you won't feel so bad about all the bars you hit the night before. Virgin Island Coffee Roasters' Fair Trade Organic Sumatran Blend is served hot all day long for those in need of that caffeine buzz. We have lots of options for dairy-free and gluten-free guests, including sorbets and our yummy Slush Puppies.

Honey Lavender ice cream!

This place was fabulous!! Stopped for a snack and a drink, loved them both. The homemade honey lavender ice cream was amazing and the fresh brewed iced green tea was equally excellent. If I lived nearby I would be there every day! Reasonable prices for the area; the tea was $3 and a decent-sized... read more

The ice cream was great, the workers...not so much! We went twice. The first night, we asked the man working what his favorite was. His response? "I don't really like sweet stuff." We all got fresh waffle cones. The salted caramel ice cream was awesome. The second night, there was a girl working. She said they were "out" of waffle... More

I did not eat there. But, the wife and daughter did. They loved it. The portions were huge. It has a great location coming and going to the beaches. Just whip in and grab a scoop.

I wish they could bottle up that smell and sell it. We went to Mongoose Junction twice. The first time I worked hard, but I was able to resist the draw of the smell of freshly baked waffle cones. However on my second trip, I could not wait to get one. I had a waffle cone with a scoop of... More

I wanted some ice cream after dinner and had my eye on St. John Scoops since we passed it often during our trips throughout the island. It was good and light tasting. I like that it is homemade without any chemicals/hormones. They have "adult" flavors (liquor infused) that looked really yummy but I went with my traditional chocolate. I will... More

With homemade ice cream and root beer made in USVI what's not to love?? Absolutely delicious. The price is high, but worth it!

You can smell the mouthwatering waffle cones a mile away. The ice cream was so good, it justified coming form St. Thomas just to get some. The mint chocolate chip was out of this world; "blended thin mints into the ice cream." However my cone was stale, so that was disappointing. Hopefully that is not a reoccurrence.

This ice cream was super creamy and delicious. They even have adult flavors, but the regular flavors were the best. Salted Carmel and Heathbar were wonderful. They even have slush puppies that the kids loved though the machine was down many times during our visit. Get the punch card because you will be back.
