While the concierge at our hotel recommended the ribs, we elected to choose seafood, based on the owner's recommendation. The fish of the day was 'covina' which is a southern Caribbean fish. This was cooked just perfectly with a nice sauce. I ordered the shrimp and mussels with linguine and the shrimp were again cooked perfectly and the dish was... More

They ran out of ribs the first day we went, but they had them the next and they were good. Same with drinks and sides. Convenient location.

Good fish and great service. Went for dinner on a quiet night.. We all had fish with variety of sauces...all were very good. Dave waited on us and made sure everything was to our liking.

My family and I just had a fantastic meal at Driftwood David's last night. At first glance you might be tempted to keep looking but go on in and you won't be disappointed. David waited on my family of five and was very engaging and helpful. It was 5:45 but he let us order off both the lunch and dinner... More

Earlier this week, I was in St. John with my husband and our teenage son. We wandered around looking for dinner, not exactly sure what we wanted. We poked our heads into this unassuming spot in the Lumberyard and a kind man gently lured us in with a description of the seafood options. No hard sell; just a friendly welcome.... More

Our only complaint about David's ribs is that there weren't enough of them on the plate! One slab is simply not enough when they are THAT GOOD.

Ate here last night and it was the best meal of the week! The panko crusted fish was delicious and the garlic mashed potatoes made my knees buckle. Cleaned my plate. My husband was a little skeptical because there were not many people eating here. Don't let that keep you away. Driftwood David's is an understated gem in Cruz bay.... More

Fantastic food, great Southern hospitality, coldest beers on the island. Dirftwood Dave's is a must visit on any trip to St. John

This little restaurant will surprise you. My wife had the corvina and I ordered the baby back ribs. We ate here last week and it was the best fish we had eaten on the island. It was cooked to perfection and the sides (mashed potatoes & carrots) complimented it perfectly. The ribs were well seasoned and tender. I didn't even... More

Upside--wait staff were very good. Downside--the food wasn't very good, and the atmosphere was weird and cluttered.
