Great Food & Great Staff

I had the NY Strip with blackened shrimp. Delicious! Plus the steak was huge! Our waitress was great as was all the staff. We were seated by Richard (who I believe is the owner). He came by our table during dinner to check on us and then asked us how everything was on the way out, thanked us for... read more

The is a great restaurant. The food was great and the atmosphere very Caribbean. It is located right down at the main shopping and bar area near the water. Parking is close by for a payment. The Mahi fish was perfect and the waitstaff was very helpful with our meal decisions.

We were staying in Cruz Bay for 5 days and looking for a simple meal. The restaurant is very comfortable, with a very tropical/Caribbean feel. The food was good with good portions, not huge but plenty. Had we been home my wife could have done better. Go with fresh local seafood.

First visit to this great restaurant, wish we discovered last year when we visited. I am typically not a huge fan of Caribbean lobster since we live on the east coast, generally Maine lobster is much better. Having said that I was craving lobster the night we dined here and figured I would give it a shot. I ordered the... More

This place is a perfect lesson in not letting passing looks fool you. We passed by a few times and thought it was a tiny bar/restaurant, but after reading a tripadvisor review we decided to explore it a bit more. Once we entered we realized it opened up towards the back into a nice 40-50 seat restaurant. I had the... More

We've been visiting St John for 17 years. We always include a trip to Lime Inn during each trip. The menu is not extensive, but all food is fresh and well prepared. I particularly appreciate the quality of food for the price. Often while vacationing on St John, we prefer the casual open air dining rather than formal. We are... More

Whole grilled grouper, reasonably priced, may be the best local fish on the island. Iced key lime dessert an interesting twist. Limited parking right in front (move the cones).

The Caribbean lobster is expensive, but totally worth it - local food you can't get on the mainland, and perfectly cooked. The jerk whole snapper was also excellent. The scalloped potatoes and green beans are both tasty. The frozen key lime pie was a perfect simple dessert - but we needed to split it after all that food. Very helpful... More

The Lime Inn typically is both our first-night and last-night restaurant when we visit St. John. The food is excellent, and the adjoining Ficus Bar is great fun with terrific bartenders. Try the Caribbean lobster or the whole red snapper. Don't the forget the best Key Lime Pie on the island. If you go for lunch the chowder and 1/2... More
