Don't be deceived by the outward appearance of this small restaurant. I have always wanted to try this place & I am so happy I did! I had the Jerk Chicken & this was by far the best meal I had on St. John. Reasonably priced & family owned. Great service!! The jerk chicken was served with steamed zucchini &... More

We loved this little restaurant. It seems very authentic, the people are ever so nice and the food was delicious! My only regret is that we discovered it too close to our departure! Hope to be back some day.

Really delicious, small local restaurant. My husband and I both had King fish, which was the catch of the day, and it was fabulous, as were all the sides. The restaurant itself doesn't look fancy, but don't let that stop you, the food is what you're there for. And not only was it one of the best meals we had,... More

I have visited this somewhat hard to find restaurant on several occasions. The staff always welcomes me with a warm smile. The food is mostly West Indian cuisine, something harder to find in the islands than it should be. Their conch in butter sauce is simply to die for, but their fresh catch and roti are also delicious. The assortment... More

Sogos comes highly recommended hands down! Whether its for a great smoothie, mix drink, cold beer, or just a delicious plate of Island or American food, this is definitely the spot! There are all types of cuisines at Sogos from the Mahi Mahi down to the dessert, coconut Tart! Although it's a small restaurant, the quality of food is tasty... More

I love Sogo's. The service is excellent and the food is tasty and authentic. Have a Ginger Beer and strike up a conversation with your server. I heard so many great St John stories when we were last there, it was a highlight of our trip.

This restaurant was recommended in our hotel. Supposedly it's a restaurant for locals but when we were been there, we only saw tourists. The food quality is very low and it's pricey for what you get. The chicken roti had a few small slices of chicken and the dough was very hard. The fish was overcooked. The sides come in... More

We were recommended to this place by one of the locals, saying we cannot have a perfect trip until we try some West Indian dishes. We were blown away with how great the food was, and the service was incredible. Best food on the island.

We ate here based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. Although the restaurant is tiny, the service was very good and the food was excellent. Highly recommended for authentic Caribbean cuisine.

One evening we walked by and looked at the menu, looked up at the plastic chairs, and walked on by. The next day i asked a local about getting some local cuisine and they reccomended Sogo's so went ahead and gave it a try. The food and the service make you forget about the atmosphere. Once you are endulging in... More
