Seemed like the place to be in Cruz bay. Always had a good crowd and a band playing. I unfortunately drank too many pain killers my first night there!
We stopped by here several times during the day for drinks, and once at night, after a sunset cruise. I can only recall what my husband and I had, but everyone enjoyed their food. My husband had their fish and chips, and I had the special that night, which was some sort of chicken wrap, served with fries. No live... More
If you're looking for fun, relaxing, good food, awesome music, right on the beach place to go, then head to The Beach Bar. The staff is equally as friendly and attentive. Every night we were in St. John, we ended up at The Beach Bar. What a great atmosphere and overall great time! I'll be back!!
Loved this place on St John.. Food is decent, but the draw is actually the location.. Here you can sit with your drink right on the beach with live music in the background twice a week. Ultimate wind-down spot!
Good selection of bar food and good "island" drink selections. I highly recommend the "Dark & Stormy" rum cocktail and the Crab Dip. Just the right combo coming off the beach.
Great place to meet locals and visitors from all over. Super friendly staff. Good drinks, good food (had fish tacos and a couple of apps....all good for "bar food". Played LRC game one night with a bunch of the locals and met some great people (group of 4) who lived within 100 miles of us (small world) and had a... More
The location couldn't be more perfect, directly on the beach allows you to enjoy the goings on at the end of the day while relaxing at a great happy hour. Fast, friendly service and live music almost every night. Be aware when they post the music time starting at 8pm, that is island time! The music typically starts around 9... More
The food was really excellent. Our group loved the shrimp and fries, fish tacos, and fish sandwich. The "boat drinks" were amazing, especially The Lime and the Coconut. Definitely stop here if you're in St. John.
We chose the Beach Bar as the place for a group of us to gather before heading off for a family event. There was plenty of space on the beach to sit and sip our drinks, and when caught by a sudden shower, we were able to find room under cover to resume enjoying drinks and snacks. Service was cordial,... More
It's all good! I would have given an excellent rating but during my last solo visit, I could not get anyone to take my order at lunch time. My favorite is the grilled chicken burrito and the painkiller.
