From the staff, to the view, to the food, to the drinks -the Beach Bar should be on the list of your stops while in St. John. Simply awesome!

I love the Beach Bar. The food and drinks are good, and the atmosphere is cool. We always meet interesting people and strike up some good conversations. There's a good mix of locals and visitors there. Even if we have dinner somewhere else, we'll stop there on the way back for a nightcap or two. The tuna appetizer is really... More

This place has a great happy hour until 7 p.m. Painkillers are the best. The barkeeps make you feel right at home and will play Trivial Pursuit right along with you. (cards on the bar for anyone to play). Location right on beach, did not try food. And someone was talking about a free ferry from St. Thomas? Yeah, it's... More

Nice little outdoor beach bar, yummy frozen drinks, smallish bar menu to choose from. Conveniently located right near the passenger ferry drop off/pick up. Tables are self service from the bar. The bushwacker was the best one I had from St. John & St. Thomas.

The staff at the Beach Bar (mostly Jen and Jimmy the week I visited) will make you feel like a regular immediately. The view from the bar is beautiful, and it always has a fun atmosphere. They get great bands a few times a week, and even when there isn't a band it's a fun place to hang out. Highly... More

Tough to beat their location right on the beach at the end of a little beach front shopping plaza. The burger I had was outstanding. St. John is the best St. Thomas has to offer haha. There is a free ferry from St. Thomas that runs hourly. Most of the development on the island is near where the ferry lands.... More

This bar is directly below you and you hear the music from about 9-12. The bands are top quality. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. We walked down one night. Service is great. Drinks are reasonable. you can sit outside at tables feet away from the beach and still be close to the band. A quirk: You order and... More

The paradise of St. John is surely a magical place, its beauty unparalleled, never to be forgotten. Of course the sheer joy and memories of such idyllic escapes are highlighted by the fun, food and entertainment that is provided. Where The Beach Bar is concerned, I truly defy anyone who visits St. John to make only one visit to this... More

Great drinks, great view. We had a few apps, the tuna, and it was really good. Live music and close to everything.

Went to the beach bar a couple of nights for drinks, had decent pub food one of the nights. A band from NC (Sun Dried Vibes) was playing a few nights, excellent reggae band. Friends + good music + drinks + decent food + table at the beach = great night
