Fantastic place to order some appetizers and painkillers, and watch the sunset. If you're waiting for the ferry, this is a perfect place to kill the time. I've watched live music here many times as well. The fish tacos and nachos are excellent. Painkiller happy hours are one of the best deals on the island.

I'm sure a lot of people don't eat at the Beach Bar, but they really do have surprisingly good food. Their turkey, bacon and cheese sandwich starts out with turkey they actually roast each day. So it's not some processed turkey meat...it is real roast turkey, and it is delicious. I like their "nachos" are really served up with the... More

Still the best drinks on the Island Still the best view. Still the best fish tacos. Still the friendliest most helpful bartenders. Met some great people and made arrangements to meet up with them again tomorrow night. Our vacation begins as it always does at the BEST BEACH BAR in ST.JOHN

My family, friends and I have been to the Beach Bar at least every single night that we are on the island (we have been going for the past 10 years). If we don't go, we know we are missing out on some sort of fun. The atmosphere is so calming with no distractions of a television (just a small... More

Never a dull moment at the Beach Bar :) High season you can find amazing, fun live music almost every night. The bartenders and kitchen staff are absolutely the best you can encounter. Jen, Amanda and Chris make our experience better and better every time we visit! The food is always excellent especially the nachos, fish tacos and spinach &... More

We had such a good time here, I think we went everyday that we were there. A must see while staying in Saint John.

The food was great, the service prompt. The bar tenders were fun and sharp minded and attentive to all in my party. Adam, Chris, Amanda are a few names I recall. There were others, but they were all fun and welcoming. This place is in a perfect location and fun. We have been coming down here for over 10 years.... More

The Painkiller beverage is a killer.... all pun intended. great setting right on the Cruz Bay waterfront. The sliders are very tasty but the fish and chips are weak. The drinks are $4 for happy hour. Okay but thre are other restaurants that will have $3 happy hour drinks. The bottom line is that this location is a great place... More

We have stopped 3 times for a happy hour beer and nachos or burger at this unassuming beach bar, right on the beach, good bar food, friendly bar service, just the right way to spend the late afternoon. Easy going island atmosphere, not expensive.
