this was our priciest meal in st. john and it was just very average for the cost. the only highlight were the drinks, lime in the coconut was very good but would go somewhere else for your meal and save a whole lot of money.

Dinner tonight at Ocean Grill -- price point as high as the best dining on the island -- $18 burger and $30-52 entrees. "Caesar" salad with canned bacon bits and bottled dressing. $18 burger with stale cold bun. An awful experience from start to finish. Will never b back and will let everyone knows who comes here to skip. Just...

My wife and I stopped in just for drinks at the bar. After a few a local man came in and ordered a BBC. We saw the long pours for the drink an my wife decided to order one also. We got less than half of the pour for the same drink at the same price. Must be nice to...

The ambiance was incredible, there was live music and the food was amazing. I would visit again. We ordered a salad and Mahi Mahi and both we great. They have a chocolate/banana roll with coconut for desert that rocked our world.
Ocean Grill is unlike any other restaurant in St.John. You walk in and feel magically transported to a romantic hideaway. Have a drink at the bar, share a desert........... Just being there is worth the stop. Thanks Hanna for always making us feel welcome! We are looking forward to seeing you next year!
We had excellent food here. The jalepeno glazed salmon and blackened mahi mahi are amazing!! I tried 2 meals because we returned twice during our visit. My husband also raved about his paella and sausage of the day choices. The desserts are also amazing!! The chocolate peanut butter cake was great! There were 7 of us total, and we couldn't...

Good food, good service, good music. We were there a night when they have live steel band, which we love. The only downside is the sense that someone from Disney helped design the place...
The setting is a cool natural setting (but NOT anywhere around an "Ocean" as the name implies), but the quality of the food and service does not justify the price, even on St John island. Very disappointing since it was a resort recommended eatery. Island standard drinks like the "Painkiller" and "Rum Punch" had little flavor, through the alcohol content...

Actually, you may easily give this 5 stars. I only award 4 because it was just a little bit high $ for me. (But not nearly as high as I've seen on some other Caribbean islands). I just needed a slightly simpler dinner. Nice variation of jazz on different nights (steel pan, guitar). Our waiter was very friendly and struck...

We stopped in to have a couple of drinks and listen to the steel drum music - good choice! We asked what THE drink to get was and the bartender recommended the backporch lemonade. All I can say is this was one of the best we've ever had, and they even had cards to hand out so you can make...
