We stopped in for 2 for 1 apps and Painkillers on the way back from Trunk Bay. The food was excellent and the service was great! Michael took very good care of us. I would definitely recommend!

Virgin fire is located in Mongoose junction where it is easier to find parking. We had a great table, good service and innovative menu, met the owners and enjoyed speaking with them about STJ and the Adirondacks.

My husband and I were excited to try this new restaurant and were seated promptly on the terrace by the hostess. However, we waited far too long for a server without being asked about drinks, water, etc. When our waiter finally joined us, he seemed very distracted, unfamiliar with the menu and even what to ask us. The food was... More

Thanks for the positive and generous review of Virgin Fire. Regular readers here will note that we are very aware of the comments made here and feel that they are very helpful to us in our quest to server every guest properly. We had two other comments on the bread and now bake our own, which I think people will... More

We first went to Virgin Fire last November and loved it so much we ate there 3 out of 6 days. We returned this Thanksgiving week and the food and service were top notch. Our server Mike had a great sense of humor and took great care of us. Make sure you have the mac and cheese with tomato and... More

This is my first review on Tripadvisor. We have visited St. John during Thanksgiving week for the last five years. Mongoose Junction (the "mall" where Virgin Fire is located) is a favorite shopping spot for me. We noticed that Virgin Fire was a new restaurant from last year. The posted menu looked great and decided to give it a try.... More

We stopped for the 1/2 price appetizers and small plates. It was friendly and looked fancy without feeling snooty. We had the coconut shrimp skewers (OMG!! So good), the spring rolls (hmm so so ) and the fried artichoke hearts (YUMMMY). All so great. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Great atmosphere. We would definitely go back!

We spent several evenings at the Virgin fire bar for happy hour. Fantastic bartender: attentive - great service. I found a new island favorite: orange vodka (or citrus rum) with lemonade and a splash of sprite...so good. Plenty of happy hour food specials to choose from: shrimp skewers and the island fries were big winners. Dinner was pretty good the... More

Thanks for the repeat visits and glad you generally enjoyed... Our rule is that if the ingredients are in the house, that we will (within reason) make up what you would like and it is certainly easy enough for us to top off a pasta dish with a different protein. I can also recommend our house made Hot Sauce, if... More

Visited Virgin Fire for the first time in October, which is off-season for the island. Many of my favorite restaurants were closed so we gave this a try. The space is huge with lots of seating in the dining room and bars, we chose the terrace which was lovely. Service was excellent, very attentive waitress. We had three courses and... More

Modern building with tasteful decor for comfortable dining. We were seated on-time for our reservations & service was good. Friday night music was great but a little too loud. I had bbq ribs with augratin potatoes. Ribs had lots of flavor & meat fell off bone. Would definitely go again.

First of all I must say that I have not been in this building to eat since it was Paradiso. That said, my wife and I were looking for something quick and not very heavy. They have an amazing happy hour of 1/2 priced apps from 4-6 each day. So much for not eating heavy! I had to try them... More
