Drinks were good but the food was average. For what turned out to be one of our most expensive meals during our stay, I wasn't impressed.

This was probably our least favorite restaurant on the island.......if you eat here, my recommendation would be to eat on the patio and drink something other than a margarita! Cons~The inside of the restaurant is very small with only a few tables. The tiny, cramped, coed bathroom is right next to one of the tables, which I found distasteful. The... More

Went there twice in a recent trip to St Johns. Good location. Cool place. Food both times was really good. Service was not great. Both times we went for lunch and it seemed that there is only one person there besides the cook. It was not that the staff was not trying but when you have to make drinks, takes... More

My husband and I went to Margarita Phil's for dinner on the 4th of July. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food. The bartender was very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with him. The kitchen was a little short-staffed and they were out of some items. Charles, the chef, was churning things out as best he could--given... More

Hubby had the queso grouper chilupa (twice) and loved it. I had the tacos the first night, very good and fajitas the other visit, both were good, tacos were my favorite. The $7 chips and variety of salsa were not really good, I hate saying this. The Margaritas were good, not exceptional. Good food, we will go back.

My wife and I were in the mood for some different food. Phil's was perfect! I got the large margarita and it was delicious and more than enough to last through the meal. The chicken quesadilla was delicious as was the shrimp quesadilla.

We just got back from St. John. We took our 5 kids. We tried hard to find places to eat that would please everyone and not cost a fortune. Unfortunately, on the island that is difficult. We had a great meal here. Kids ate the nachos. We had Tuna tacos and a pulled pork burrito. It was all delicious and... More

Well my wife and I went here for lunch and it was the most expensive meal we had the whole time we were there. It was definitely very very average. The drinks were fine, the food was average, and the service was decent. However, for the price it wasn't great.
