Yep, we spent a week in St. John and the food here is amazing. Everything is from Italia, the flour and even the water. This is a true jem just one street behind the main area of Cruz Bay.

Homemade pasta and pizzas - small restaurant so make reservations; great service and food; nice wine list; homemade desserts - you have to be looking for restaurant to find it as its located on the 2nd street back from Wharf

The food will bring you back to Italy - if you've been there. Best pasta on the island - by far. Also, the pizza isn't "NY style" pizza, and it's awesome. Made with true pride by a kid who really takes his job too heart. Ask him - you'll be impressed.

Food was very fresh. We had item 1. on pasta list which was just plain spaghetti like pasta with fresh tomato sauce. It was yummy. Had vegetarian pizza twice! We loved the freshness more than anything. But, portions are very small.

We are yearly visitors to St John. While visiting with two other couples our concierge made dinner reservations at Da Livio. When we arrived on time for the reservation we were told that our reservation was given to another party since we didn't call in advance with a credit card. There were plenty of tables but they would not take... More

Reading the other reviews, I have to wonder if we are talking about the same restaurant. Although the food wasn't terrible, this was by far one of the worst Italian restaurants we have been too. They charge for Parmesan on the table and bread ($3 & $4) without letting you know first. Not warm or welcoming place. Waitress charge $4... More

Buongiorno, thanks for your contribution, could help better travelers if you saying the truth: all the charges are clearly printed in ENGLISH and in red ink on the menu; the prices of the wines are also clearly showed in U.S. Dollars. I see you do not have any problems writing, sounds strange to me you have some reading! As always... More

We have been a regular patron of Da Livio since its opening six years ago. The food is consistenly fabulous and reminiscent of the exquisite cuisine that we experienced on our visits to Italy. The owner-chef uses only the freshest ingredients and makes the pasta daily. We have many favorites including the lobster ravioli and the shrimp with saffron linguine.... More

We really like this place. Good atmosphere, impressive wine list, and very good, authentic Italian cooking. Try the wild boar pasta--incredible. My wife and daughter had pizza (again), and based upon my frequent sampling, these too were great.

We really enjoyed our last night in St. John dinner. We've done some of the more pricey places in town, and on our last night wanted something casual. Da Livio fit the bill. They have a nice ambiance and sitting inside you can't tell you're in a tropical island. More importantly, the food is delicious. I loved their red sauce... More

We ate at Da Livio twice during our trip to St. John and had their pizza both times. The pizza from the wood burning oven is delicious and a decent value considering the price. The charge of $3 for four tiny pieces of bread is quite ridiculous, however, so avoid that. They also don't offer much in terms of a... More
