We have been here in previous years, and were a bit disappointed this visit. We had 3 pizzas, and a pasta dish. Portions were small, and seemed over priced for what we got. Pizzas were ok, but nothing to write home about, and pasta was not very good. The only thing everyone enjoyed was dessert- the nutella pizza was really... More

In October, I spent two weeks traveling through – Venice, Florence, Rome, and Tuscany. But my best Italian meal was at this restaurant – homemade pasta with authentic ingredients, fresh seafood, great pizza. What more could you ask for?

We met a couple during our vacation who comes to St. John every year, and they recommended this place. We were so glad we tried Da Livio! I had the garlic mussel special of the day, which was perfectly prepared, absolutely delicious, and I ate every bit of it! I can't recall what entree my husband had, because I was... More

Da Livio's delivered another amazing experience for us once again. I was lucky enough to find this place on my first trip to St John and have eaten there every trip since. The atmosphere is wonderful, service is exceptional, and the food is the best on the island.

We were not expecting to get a great Italian meal in a back alley on a Caribbean Island. We shared the eggplant appetizer, a pizza and pasta with bolognese sauce- turned out to be too much food for us- but the flavors were fresh and subtle. The thin crust pizza was right out of the oven next to us and... More

so many extra charges for random things that they don't have the courtesy of informing you before hand. It's all written somewhere in small letters in the menu. And terrible ravioli. Not even defrosted properly. Avoid this place.

Hi, thanks for your review but for complete it I have to respond because you forgot to tell you didn't pay for the ravioli, for your very personal taste was terrible, and also I'm running a restaurant not an insurance company so there is no hidden charges and all are written in ENGLISH and visible👓. I'm sorry you start using... More

We ate here 2 nights. The San Giovanni pizza is soooo good. We also enjoyed the Margherita pizza. You can't go wrong dining here. We've had the pasta on previous visit's and were not disappointed.

Loved! I am a foodie and Italian food snob...I am always seeking the best Italian restaurants when traveling abroad. We found this place in the middle of our stay on St. John. Dined 2 more times! The pizza was amazing! The pasta was just like my Nana made. The owner is straight from Italy and you can tell by the... More
