We own a villa, Perelandra, on St. John. Each time we go we have a great meal there. I always recommend it to my renters as a reliable place for great drinks and good food. Try a Painkiller. It stays open in the low season when other places close. You can't go wrong.

Great location and atmosphere in Cruz Bay. Our waiter was very nice and the cocktail and appetizers were excellent (especially tuna tartar nachos). The entrees were a bit more ordinary (we were there on lobster night and the lobster was a bit dry). It was nice to have a guitar player there.

The food and service was excellent. The fish was local and fresh. They did not rush us out after our meal we were able to sit and enjoy the calm quiet atmosphere.

We were expecting great things from this restaurant, as it was recommended by some other tourists. The food, at best, was marginal. The atmosphere could have been better as well. The table we were taken to was back in a corner by some stored items. Not a nice place to seat anyone.
