At Morgan’s Mango, we try to reflect the life of the islands, a place of dazzling light and color, tropical breezes and starry nights, a relaxed and sensory experience.Joining us, to share in the culinary history of an island world crowded with so many wonderful cultures that it takes your breath way. Our food covers many Caribbean and South American cuisines—Creole, Bahamian, Cuban, Jamaican, Haitian, Puerto Rican, Argentinian and Mayan. All of these cuisines have been influenced by the original inhabitants of the islands, the Arawak and Carib Indians, as well as the Africans, East Indians and Chinese who arrived later. Add to these the foods of the Spanish, French, British and Danish settlers, and you have an incredible melting pot of ethnic and classic cuisines.Hence Cuisines of the Caribbean, a neo-Caribbean experience conveying the juice and jazz of the islands, a carnival of flavors and lifestyles.

Calimari

This place has the best calimari I've ever tasted. We referred our friends who visited just a couple weeks ago and they kept thanking us for the recommendation. Cannot wait to go back.

My husband and I dined at Morgan's Mango last fall after reading several positive reviews on TA. Close proximity to the ferry dock makes MM a great restaurant to try if you are visiting for the day. The ambiance at night is intimate and cozy. I would have preferred a larger table to sit our glasses, etc on, but as with... More

There has been a kitchen fire and they had to close. But they plan to reopen in a month. It's a great family restaurant, run by a husband and wife. Locals and visitors alike feel Comfortable there. Let's hope they open soon.

I've eaten here several times and enjoyed it (especially Caribbean lobster night) but, unfortunately they will be closed for a while after a devastating fire at the end of April.

Would definitely recommend, great service food and drinks. Met the owner who was happy to see Peruvians enjoy the ceviche dish.

The locals raved about this restaurant. It was OK but nothing special and definitely overpriced for the quality. The service, however, was excellent.

One of our favorites on our trip! Be sure to try the pork tenderloin that is in a curry sauce as it was killer! The atmosphere here was very romantic and open. A local played soft guitar music to accompany our dinner. Larger families are welcome here and will find something for even the children. The staff were very attentive... More

Coming from the city, it's easy to forget that going to dinner at 8:30pm might lead to slim pickings. We ended up at Morgan's Mango when we couldn't find much else. Terrible music, average food at too high a price. Really nothing special. I would not return.

This is a funkyish bar restaturant not far from the ferry. The drinks are excellent and the food ranges from burgers to various types of Carribbean specialties. We always try to stop here at least once whenever we make it to Dt. Johns.
