A good spot to drop in for lunch - food was expertly prepared and i had a margarita that i thought was one of the better ones i've ever had. I'd recommend dropping in and giving then a try.

Loralei makes this place special. The food has always been amazing, from the Mac and cheese balls to the whole red snapper. You just can't go wrong here. The dirty monkeys alone are worth the stop. I currently hold the record for drinking one in less than 60 seconds. However, I promise you drink a couple and they will sneak... More

Although the sand from Africa was blowing in the day we were here, we still had a great view from Chateau Bordeaux. I had the Amaretto pancakes and my wife had the french toast. Both were very good. Unfortunately, we were the only ones to find this place the morning we were there so I'm hoping that they will stay... More

We went to Chateau Bordeaux for breakfast before tackling the Reef Bay hike. Amazingly, the hike was much easier (and it is a tough hike!) after consuming the deliciously strong coffee, tasty fresh fruit bowl with delightful yogurt and honey on the side, and perfectly soft-scrambled eggs. The staff was extremely friendly and the view reaching all the way across... More

We recently stopped at Chateau Bordeaux for lunch (we had been there years ago for an amazing dinner). Now they only serve lunch and breakfast. The view is amazing! Loralei and Yancy were so enjoyable. The view - did I mention the view?! Dirty Monkey was a delicious frozen drink, burgers with pineapple were super good and mac and cheese... More

Stopped here for their infamous Dirty Monkey's after a morning on Trunk Bay. The bartender was super friendly and we enjoyed the view from over the bar, although we do wish they had let us come in and sit with our drinks. They have THE BEST VIEW of Coral Bay, and do want you to come in and order something,... More

The Chateau Bordeaux used to be a great fine dining place. Now it is not much more than a hamburger shack with a great view. Certainly not worth the drive from the west side of St. John. In May 2014 we were on our 12th vacation to St. John. We ate at the Chateau Bordeaux and were amazed at how... More

We stopped here for lunch and sat on the outdoor patio. The view is breathtaking. There was only one other couple there for lunch, and so we practically had the place to ourselves. Our waitress was pleasant. We ordered fish and chips (maui) which was good, and also the mahi mahi that was served with pineapple and rice. My husband... More

Went to Chateau Bordeaux in the off season, so it's understandable that there would be fewer employees working at this restaurant...with stellar views. However, with a packed outdoor seating area, and a quickly filling inside area...two employees...TWO...is nowhere near enough manpower to take care of everyone. Both the cook and the server/bartender/hostess tried their hardest to keep up, but a... More

The staff was friendly and the food was good. We celebrated surviving the round trip hike on the Reef Bay Trail with a couple dirty monkeys! If a bushwacker and a mudslide had a love child, the dirty monkey is it. Stunning views from the patio. A definite stop if you find yourself wondering around St. John.
