My husband and I ate here on the last night of our honeymoon, and I haven't forgotten how amazing our meal was. We ordered blackened shrimp for an appetizer -- so good they'll leave you wishing you could order more. Then he ordered the Wahoo and I got the seared Tuna in a wasabi sauce-- both were incredible and so... More

We ate here our first night in St John last week. Good simple food and really nice service.. It had started to rain and they moved the table in so we were dry. Server was a really nice guy. I just wanted plain grilled fish and they delivered. We were so tired from a 12 hour travel day and it... More

We ordered 4 different seafood entrees and only one was good. We had many great meals while on the island, but I would not return to this restaurant.

On the back road around downtown Cruz Bay lies a hidden gem of a restaurant serving delicately prepared, fresh varieties of fish and other seafoods. Our meals had healthy vegetables, delish sauces, and authentic island tastes. If you're wondering where to go next, go here.

We arrived for an early dinner, there were already quite a few folks in the dining room. If you mind families with children.....go later. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was good with a lot of different fish choices. Prices vary, but generally dinners ranged from 19$-40$. They also have an early bird special on a few meals,... More

Great wahoo here, best Key Lime Pie. And also the Corvina. We always eat here when we come to St. John!

We started with a very reasonably priced white wine, conch fritters and an ahi tuna app. For entrees we had the corvina and the fish hot pot of the day. I was worried the hot pot might be overdone but it was tender and yummy. The corvina special was amazing. To boot the homemade hot sauce was over the top.... More

First night in St. John with no food in the kitchen, we decided to give Fish Trap a try. Rated on the less expensive scale of local eateries, we were still hopeful we'd have a decent meal...no such luck.We ordered four fish dinners and one soup and a few drinks. Had to return one dish, the soup was tasteless. The... More

I thought the price for the very average food here was too much. There are a lot of better options in Cruz Bay. I was expecting a more reasonable priced dinner with the quality of the food. Since you are in the islands, all the restaurants have seafood options. This place seemed dead all the other nights we walked passed... More

This was our other favorite restaurant on the island. A very understated setting and plastic chairs but they more than make up for it with the food. Every course was a delight for the mouth. Ahi with sesame seed for an appetizer-wow! Our fish was moist and delicious! And for dessert a cocoanut cake with run sauce-OMG! They almost had... More
