Good fresh fish specials

Fish Trap has a lot of fish specials each night. I had a Mahi entree which was quite tasty. Judi, the bartender (I ate at the bar), was very friendly and nice to chat with. The restaurant is a very casual place. If you're looking for good, fresh fish, this is a good option.

We caught some nice fish on a charter. We brought it here and asked the chef if he would cook it. He said that he would, no problem. Usually the standard rate for cooking your own fish is about $8-12 depending on the restaraunt. When we got the bill i almost fell off my chair...they charged us $25 per plate.... More

We went with six people and we had different assortment of seafood dishes and they were all well cooked. One of our party members had a steak and he enjoyed it very much. The seafood was fresh and tasty but not with sauces and other fancy sides but still very good. Two of us split the chocolate desert which was... More

Fish trap has some of the best food on the island. We ate here about 3 times. Had their Lobster and also the spicy steamed shrimp. My husband loves the whole snapper. Drinks, staff, and atmosphere are the best!

Have eaten here several times. Always enjoy the swordfish, salmon, and the warm coconut cake is delicious for dessert. Nice atmosphere and great service. Enjoy!

The service was great and the ambience quaint, but the food was just OK. My wife had the snapper which was fine, but the vegetables and coconut rice was bland. I had the wahoo dish. The broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes were great, but the decent sized hunk of fish was VERY OVERCOOKED and BLAND. The key lime tart was... More

Our food was okay- nothing to write home about. The drinks were cheap but watered down and not sure if there was any alcohol in them. We only ordered one. Restaurants should realize that serving crappy drinks does not equal repeat customers.

We had swordfish, snapper stuff salmon, red snapper, and wahoo, all were great as well as the bread. We ate dinner each night we were on the island (7 nights) and wanted to try a different restaurant each night but ended up eating here again on our last night because we couldn't get in at another place (group of 8)... Nice patio seating, great food, great service. Note that they are closed on Mondays and are dinner only.

Friends had told us they loved this restaurant, but we found the food to be OK, but not excellent. Again pricey.
