We went to Jake's after reading a few good reviews. They had a pretty extensive menu, and we were all very happy with our selections. Ate here twice on our week in St. John. Prices are reasonable, and our waitress was great.

Great service, Great Breakfast and Great Atmosphere! Couldn't ask for more. It is rare that we describe pancakes as outstanding but Jake's pancakes were simply outstanding....huge and fluffy. Eggs, sausage, hash browns were great as well. The location in the lumber yard is convenient for a stop for breakfast on the way to the beaches. We have hit all the... More

Read the reviews and tried it. It is excellent. I had the "Regular" which is 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, home cooked potatoes and wheat, white toast or English muffin. I had this 4 out of the 7 days we were here. Service was always excellent, with a smile and the food cooked the same every day. Opens at 7:30.... More

Went here for breakfast one morning and we very much enjoyed it! I had the granny's omelet (spinach, cheese, onions, mushrooms) along w home fries and my husband had the egg sandwich with bacon. Both of our dishes were delicious and we were amazed at how quickly they were prepared. The home fries were soo yummy! Wish I knew how... More

Corn Beef and Hash is the Best I've ever had. Service is Excellent. I've been coming here for 12yrs (It used to be called Chilli Billies) and I can never get enough. We usually go 3 or 4 times a trip! Lol! I always go for brunch but they are open late night too. Love Love Love this place.

A great stop after getting off the car barge before heading to Trunk. Breakfast was solid and reasonable. Very quick service. Sit at the counter overlooking the water!

This was one of the more reasonably priced restaurants on St. John. We would get an order of pancakes and an omelette with potatoes and split it between the two of us. Easy parking, nice view. Ended up going there twice for breakfast.

Stop in for a great breakfast - pancakes, hash, bottomless coffee, etc. Good location downtown with free parking and friendly staff.

The omelets at Jake's were OK but the place is like sitting in a dark oven which made the wait feel much longer. The tap water tasted pretty bad - get bottled. Even all the waitresses drank bottled water.

We visit Jakes every January and must have the corned beef hash. It is the best ever... Omelettes are excellent and my husband loves the pancakes. Don't miss it. If you go on the weekend you might meet Jake since he is not in school, and his little sister, Abby. Proud owners as they should be! See you next year!... More
