We visit Jakes every January and must have the corned beef hash. It is the best ever... Omelettes are excellent and my husband loves the pancakes. Don't miss it. If you go on the weekend you might meet Jake since he is not in school, and his little sister, Abby. Proud owners as they should be! See you next year!... More

I just realized I neglected to write this review from our visit in April. Let me preface this by saying that I am not a big breakfast eater. That being said, their omelet was large and flavorful, their potato pancakes were huge, and my sons had difficulty finishing their pancakes (and said that they were quite good). I believe my... More

Family had breakfast here. Food was good and service was good. The resturaunt is on the second floor of a corner building. It has an open (no windows) view that allows you to see residents going about thier daily activities.

Our electricity went out this morning so we went out for breakfast. You can always count on Jake 's for good coffee and a decent breakfast. I'm surprised by the previous review. Our waitress was sweet, brought us our coffee right away. We ordered and waited awhile for our food. Lots of locals coming out because of the power bring... More

our party of 4 arrived at 9:15 for Sunday breakfast. We knew the service could be slow as everything is prepared fresh. Even for island time, this was very slow--waited almost an hour. Local families were waited on and served before us, Waitress ignored us completely. We almost walked out about 10. Food came, eggs were good, potatoes were overdone... More

We've been coming to Jake's for 3 years now. The view is the best. Our servers have always been awesome and the food ... The food!! Always an amazing breakfast. The homefries are the tastiest anywhere. I've always gotten the same thing - the "regular" with egg whites and instead of toast, I sub a pancake. The pancakes are delish!!... More

We went to Jake's on our last day. Chose it b/c it serves breakfast and lunch, which is perfect for our family. We ordered 2 Cheesesteak sandwiches, the CBR (?) wrap, and a full breakfast (Eggs, bacon, potatoes) with banana crunch pancakes. Everything was DELICIOUS! 4 meals, 4 sodas (cans!) came to $67. Not bad for St John prices. I... More

Accidently found this place with a little walk up the hill. Breakfast served all day and other great lunch options as well. High enough for a nice view and has a California vibe. Glad we found it!

LOVE coming here for breakfast, make sure we do at least twice during every yearly visit to St. John. You cannot beat the deliciousness for the price! So good. Great way to start your day :)
