My friends both had the lobster roll, but I went for the pulled pork nachos and they were just amazingly delicious! Lots of tomato, cheese, and celery, which really added to the flavor. The homemade iced tea had spices in it, a bit odd but ok, and the gal was great about refills. They do have homemade ice cream as... More

We recently returned from 10 fantastic days in Coral Bay and as usual one of our favorite things to do is visit Larry for his great food and friendship. This year not only did we go back for a second visit but also a third. His Lobsta rolls and pulled pork nachos are the best. Also a shout out to... More

We weren't sure about this place when we pulled up. It looks like you are walking into a yard sale. But if you can get over that, the food was very good, as well as the drinks! Service was fast and friendly.

Tourist Trap . . . I really wanted to love you . . . I had such high hopes after reading all of your favorable reviews. I tried to patronize you twice for lunch, both times after trips to Salt Pond when I was just famished. Both times, there was no place to sit -- you were completely full up,... More

We stopped for lunch after a morning of snorkeling at Salt Pond Beach. Our party of four had grouper sandwiches, pulled pork tacos and grouper tacos. We all enjoyed our choices, each being freshly prepared of first quality ingredients. For desert we shared the passion fruit "ice cream" (a lovely creamy pudding). This is now on our list of favorite... More

We always try to stop by and visit the tourist trap when we are out by Salt Pond or Lameshur Bay. When you visit, don't be shy to try any of the daily specials, as we have never been disappointed! The last time there, I ordered the pulled pork nachos and they were the perfect end to a perfect day... More

Our best dining experience on St. John. Full of personality, this place is like sitting in your friend's back yard, cooler full of ice cold beer, laughter and yarns being spun. Larry is the best, and Jean is a sweetheart. Seriously - mismatched tables, a shack for the kitchen, tarps for a roof, grass under your feet, portajohn bathroom, damn... More

Sure it's just a little shack with a tent, but the food and drinks are awesome and it's the islands, so don't be so uptight about it! The Larry's Almost-Famous Drink Right and Stay Left with 6 fruit rums, mango, passionfruit and coconut or the Boom-Boom with Cruzan Rum Cream and Banana are refreshing and delicious! But don't forget the... More
