Spent a lot of time here!

This bar was a favorite spot to stop at on our way to Cruz Bay, Mongoose Junction shopping and beach shopping. A great place to spend Happy Hour!! Shark bites were delicious!! Not a very big place, but had a great time here!

You're not going to get fine cuisine at Woody's, but you'll realize that the minute you see it. Crowded, loud, and absolutely insane, it is all about Happy Hour. And it's a landmark you've got to visit, even if it's just once. Besides, where else can you get a couple of Painkillers to go at their outdoor service window? And... More

We came here several times during out vacation and loved being able to sit outside on the patio and watch the people go by as you literally sit on the sidewalk next to the street. Inside is super small. They have a good happy hour too if you like Coors light and well drinks. We had some of the appetizers... More

When we went to Woody's, we almost turned around and left. Boy am I glad that we didn't. Woody's is a small bar/restaurant right at the edge of the road. It is so close that if you are at an outdoor table, you need to make sure that you don't stick your foot out into the street. We went here... More

Great prices during happy hour and a terrific staff. A very small place that is usually flowing out onto the street in a bustling downtown location but it's a place you must try out if in St. John. Not for the food necessarily but the great crowd.

But if you go there for lunch it's quiet and the food is decent and the young college student from Missouri who attended us was really great.

The ambiance leaves much to be desired, but I was surprised when I happened to have the best mahi mahi sandwich in my life. Maybe it was luck - I don't know. I certainly wasn't expecting it on fIrst glance of the joint (never judge a book by its cover, right?). Regardless, it was so good I felt compelled to... More

What can I say, they have happy hour most of the day and the people watching is amazing. You want cheap drinks with a loud party atmosphere: check. You want drunk girls doing shots off each other: check. You want a choice of indoor or outdoor seating: check. You want live music: check. You want celebrity appearances: check. You want... More

We usually hit this bar at the end of our trip, when we've drank all our rum and are craving a good ol fashioned beer. This is the place to be for happy hour. Get here early as it is a small joint and large groups can take up a large amount of space. It isn't just the beer that... More

Woody's and "Across the Street" are owned by the same fellow. Both are excellent happy hour bars. buck of coors light for 6 bucks is hard to beat or $3 rum drinks. the fried grouper at woody's was excellent. staff is friendly but the places are small, cramped and crowded so the service is slow. None-the-less, don't come here when... More
