Love, LoVe, LOVE Woody's Bar in Cruz Bay!

We made it to Woody's Bar and Seafood everyday we were in town for drinks, to meet a few new people and hang out. Didn't eat there, but the drinks were good, the location is perfect, and the bartenders, waiters, etc are the best! AND when I accidentally left my cell phone behind, they held on to... read more

Really enjoyed Woody's. This place is kick back and great for meeting up with friends for a cold one or cocktail. We loved it so much we came back daily! The staff is awesome, Danielle was our main gal, she and everyone else was a blast to be around. The shark bites are awesome, great snack anytime! Mike and Chris... More

Too close to the road, but a happening spot for having a beer. We just wanted to see what it was, but to me nothing special about the beers but the food was good.

Although we only ate a couple times here, we found the "Shark Bites", which are chunks of grouper dusted in a spicy (cajun?) seasoning to be particularly tasty appetizers, as were the shrimp skewers. Fish platters were pretty standard fare (Tilapia, prepared one of two ways (Blackened or grilled), along with another seafood (shrimp or scallops), also prepared one of... More

We went to happy hour one evening without a plan for dinner and ended up at Woody's. This was not our best decision. We sat at a table right outside the doorway to the place. The place was very busy. The owner also owns Across the Street which is on the other side of the road. I ordered a burger... More

Great t-shirts on the walls. Fabulous drink specials. Mediocre food, but it's a dive bar, what did you want? The name and graphics on the souvenirs are what you came for, admit it.

My husband and I spent 5 nights on St. John, and Woody's was always packed. On our last night we had to check it out. We did take-out as the restaurant is pretty small, the food was delicious and soooo inexpensive. After paying a ton for other meals, this was a breath of fresh air. The conch fritters weren't my... Woody's is a must visit while on St. John. This year the service nor the food was as good as it has been in the past. I still recommend for happy hour and a fun crowd.

We stopped in for lunch thinking we were going to get fresh seafood. It was not fresh, was overcooked, and the lettuce was so bad I didn't even eat it. They did have some great deals on drinks for happy hour and it looked like a fun party place for the evening, just not a great place to dine.
