Over the past years, I have loved going to Woody's for their grilled shrimp. I CRAVE IT! Each year, i talk about hot great it is and my mouth starts watering thinking about it. However, this year I was slightly disappointed. The shrimp was not grilled very much and even with me asking to have the second round cooked very... More

This island bar is one of the best in the Virgin Islands, and perhaps the best in the Caribbean. Drinks are a buck on standard beer and well liquor choices. Price is slightly higher on "higher octane" drinks. It's all worth it because it's St. John's VI. You will meet locals and tourists alike. Seafood dishes are the best bar... More

A small place with good food and lots of fun going on. It's safe to take kids but isn't a kiddie place. MMMmmm I love this bar.

Stopped in at Woody's during my visit to St. John. So glad I did!! Fun, unique little bar and grill. Food and service was outstanding!!! The manager, Mike, went out of his way to ensure our complete satisfaction!! Shark bites and blackened shrimp were my personal favorites!! My husband rated their pain killers the best on the island!!

We didn't eat here - just had a few drinks but the staff was good, crowd was fun. The main con is that the outside tables are literally a couple of feet away from being on the street! A few too many and you could stumble into oncoming traffic!

Fun atmosphere, great happy hour. Enjoyed the food too. A little off the beaten path but easy to find.

The cajun shrimp and cajun chicken sandwiches were excellent. The bartenders supper friendly especially to my buff friend--Sorry ladies he is gay. Inside the restaurant was too hot, and the seats outside have a not so striking view of traffic. So we took our food across the street and ate it on the deck of another restaurant, I think it... ......and I mean that as a sincere complement. Woody's is for those looking for an unpretentious seafood bar and grill with, how shall I say, pleasant looking wait staff. Small floor plan and a bit loud, but that's what an authentic bar and grill is supposed to be.

We had great happy hour drinks here today for only $1 each. One of the best values on St. John. The drinks are very strong but good.
